There were supposed to be interviews and much more video but after I took this initial 2 minute video I proceeded to forget to turn the camera off, putting it back in its case which started an hour long video of blankness and when skinny alex went to do interviews or take more video the battery was dead. ![]() I thought you can just plug in your camera into any USB port and it'll charge up your camera lol, oh well. I'll be bringing mine next time, and you won't fail as much ;o

Q.Q Just kidding. lol. Appreciate you making the flyer for us, it was posted all over the LAN center and whatnot, actually had I think three or four people join up because of it. :D See you next LAN!

Tried 2 other computers, nothing. Brought it home thinking it was dead, plugged it into my PC and it charged fine. Must be something with the firmware or drivers or operating system on my home pc.

I wanna see more drama I believe Rob and the other hosts said that October will be taken up by MLG but they want to schedule another one soon after that. Pretty sure I heard that but don't hold me to it ![]()

Sorry if this is the wrong place but I'm new to the SC scene. I'm actually a vet Super Smash Bros and SF4 player from the MD/VA region, but I'm looking to join the SC scene if there's one here. Is there one? Again, sorry if this was made in the wrong place. I recognized Cyber Grounds since they also use to host SSB tournaments here in the past. If so, can someone redirect me to the proper thread? Many thanks.

www.itsgosu.com has postings on SF4 and other tournaments/things in the area. In fact there was a SF4 tournament at the same location one week before on September 18th. I was there and it looked like a pretty good event going on. I don't know where the SSB/SF4 people generally post their event information but I use teamliquid primarily because I know this is the best place to attract sc2 players. And CheeseGrater is correct. October is all about MLG in DC. Even for those without player passes I highly recommend everyone attend the event just to watch and meet people. Idra, Ret, White-Ra, team EG, team fnatic (which includes gretorp), team root and so many more will be there. pretty much all the top north american players and some of the best Europeans will be coming in. Shortly I will be starting a thread in the community section for brainstorming/planning for future events (sorta like we have 1 thread for dinner planning, this will be lan/tournament planning) all future events will officially be posted in the sc2 tournament section as they are scheduled.

@Lucky: www.smashboards.com - for SSB players. www.shoryuken.com - for SF4 players. Both forums have a "MD/VA" within their community regional section where their respective region comes together and is recognized. Was wondering if this was the proper forum to find the same kind of thing. I'll definitely be at MLG DC. But yeah, kinda' just wanted to see who our players are in this region and just introduce myself. Who are some of the better known players around here?

I was very pleased with how competitive and high level the tournament was on Saturday. as far as what forums to keep an eye on, keep an eye here. This is where I plan to continue advertising events because this is by far the largest sc2 community site where I have the best chances to reach out to the highest level players and most amount of sc2 people. I will always preface thread titles with DC/MD/NOVA so it'll be clear it's a local event.

I'll be a practice partner for you so you sweep the next LAN undefeated. ![]() i think i managed to get high on yoohoo at that lan which i didn't think was possible, i drank a total of 8 yoohoos and i am thinking about seeking help, not only has my yoohoo abuse caused me to be so messed up i could barely make it to dinner but it is also taking me to the poor house at an astounding 8$ yoohoo bill when the night was over. but good news i am going to rehab and u will see a yoohoo free hatchetwound/hooktits at the next sc 2 lan and perhaps i will preform better considering i won't have yoohoo on the brain. ^^ I am definatly down for practicing msg me some time for sure!!
