Which teams will be eliminated from TI group stage

Now that we know every team going to TI7, I'm wondering which two teams people think will be the ones eliminated straight from the group stage?

I'm thinking Infamous and Execration, but I'm not sure.

Infamous is the easy choice, for the second slot I could see someone like Empire, Planet Dog, or DC flaming out in groups. I think all the SEA and CN teams that survived their respective crucibles are safe.

I'm not venturing a guess until I see the groups, mainly because I'm expecting them to be ludicrously imbalanced somehow, and only one team from each group drops. Planet Dog, Infamous, and Execration feel like the teams to tab as "favorites" to drop because of the level of qualifier competition, but you never know.

I'd say Infamous as well but it's really hard to call without seeing the groups. Also any team could string together a few wins and end up beating somebody else to make it through the group stage. It's an interesting format this year for sure with the single elimination in each group lol

I definitely like this format much more than in the previous years. Which isnt to say it was bad before, but the groupstage was often lacking excitement, especially when for the final few matches most teams had nothing to play for. This time I hope most of the matches will matter right until the end, especially because of the early elimination of 2 teams.

Infamous and execration would also be my "favorites", but I think we all know that the TI groupstages typically produce not just one, but several (positive or negative) surprises.

Planet Dog and Infamous are imo the likeliest teams to come last in their groups. I didn't see much of the SEA quals so not sure what to make of Execration yet. Fnatic also hasn't seemed particularly strong previously but they seem to be shaping up. I think DC and Empire are likely to be lower bracket teams but both are likely to be strong enough that they can take a bunch of games from better teams. IGV also hasn't been that great on LAN but I doubt they will bomb out so hard that they'd be in danger to get knocked out. And their results in China suggest that they could compete for much better placings.

Out of the other teams I think it's hard to put obvious teams to upper or lower bracket. Based on current knowledge maybe EG, Newbee, VP and Liquid are the likeliest to get WB spots, but TI is still a month away and many teams don't play that many games from here to TI so it'll be hard to evaluate their form.

Last TI Liquid was close to last place in their group, which was won by wildcard team EHOME. DC was 2nd, and they hadn't done much of note before the event. There may be some pretty big surprises again.

I'll wait until I see the groups before I make a guess.
And even then, this iteration of Liquid frequently give me heart attacks during group stages

Its so interesting don't you think, that most of the teams should be able to take games off one another. No more mtw/arrow/mufc trash teams. Planet dog's probably is not in the same league, but I think the rest of the weaker teams like xctn/infamous/empire/DC/Fnatic will put up a good fight.

Let's not forget how disastrous LGD and igv can easily be...
