QQ: Just lost a 65 minute game where we had mega creeps (vs 2 lanes of supercreeps). They held off and eventually a triple rapier Medusa rolled over our whole team lol How does one fix one attitude

This sniper in one of my games claimed he's in coercion with some people on the enemy team, trading wins and gain 300mmr a day. Don't know how he managed to stay out of low priority though. Dotabuff link I know team chat where all his proclamation happen won't show up on replay, so I'll grab screenshots later. and how does he manage to get into the same games with the people he works with?? this guy was just a feeding troll

By trying to observe and fix personal mistakes and weaknesses. The whole "I keep getting matched with retards, MMR SUX" thing is incredibly counter productive if you actually care about improving. The MMR system is fine. If you're consistently getting matched with teammates of a certain skill level then you're at the same skill level as those people; a lot of people don't want to accept this but it's true. Claiming matchmaking is broken because it keeps putting you with less skilled teammates is just complete bullshit. Anyone who complains about it isn't actually being wronged by the system, they're just overestimating their own skill level

On the last 20 games someone in my team first picked Pudge, the guy proceeds to give first blood (usually to invoker or zeus, don't know the pattern here) makes his first gank with level 6 at 9 min, fails his hook, so the engage is vastly failed too and so 2-3 kills are given to ennemy team (usually, there is a viper) then he will. not. land. a. single. proper. hook. in the rest of the game. EVEN ON IMMOBILE OR STUNNED TARGETS. I won't even talk about map presence and wards, oh wait, I did. Likely, on the last 20 games I played against a viper, early game goes normally, then my whole team (me included, dunno why I keep being an gigantic moron with this) starts to literally feed the viper, going one by one against him for 7-10 min and only stops when Viper is basically tanking our whole vastly underleveled team. Viper has usually two or three ultra-kill before 30 minutes, sometimes rampage. On the last 20 games a viper was in my team, usually he gives first blood, then complains about no vision/ward/miss/help/mana/shitty hero (yes : someone complained that Viper in pub was the shittiest hero ever). I had a games where a viper in a trilane fed 2 melee heroes for 10 minutes then raged about our offlane Slark (me) having nor farm and being useless (to be fair, no Slark with just treads can engage 5 heroes including a Viper-fed Centaur, with level 13 at 12 mins in). When the player goes mid, we just never see him anywhere but on the killed list. When he goes offlane... Well, at my MMR, nobody can play offlane properly so it's a lost lane and a lost hero for the rest of the game. I just lost 10 years of life expectancy with my last game. Pudge AND Viper on my team. Kill me pls. Don't worry dude... I played against a guy who played pretty decently as pudge, but then he played on my team the very next game and couldn't land a hook to save his life... we had a clock, and pudge kept pulling him out of the cogs... We had a mirana who would land 3-5 sec stuns and he'd still miss his hook... :D

Solo ranked Captains Mode. We draft CM, Alch, Mirana, Luna and Dark Seer. Dire side. The opponents had Clock, Invoker, Disruptor, Naix and AA. Game is on. We all had agreed that CM, Alche and Luna (me) goes trilane top, Mirana mid and DS offlane. Or so it seemed. Suddenly, the guy who picks Alch speaks up when he sees me going safe lane. "Two carrys top, omg noobs".... He sat there, during the ENTIRE fucking time while we drafted, not saying a word while we discussed heroes, lanes and roles. He refuses to play support as Alch and won't give us a reason why. He simply says, "it's stupid, I won't support" and "this is public, I will go farm". And this is after we all explained to him (very calmly at first, believe me) why Alch is a good support, and that he can always farm up with greevil's greed so he buy carry stuff if needed. He refuses to listen and proceed to afk farm in jungle while we go 4v5 (practically 3v5 since I needed to farm for like 20 first minutes). Now, this was a lost game you would think, but we actually won. Mirana played really really well (and also, their Invoker was pretty bad) and got some early kills at their trilane. After that the opponents had the upper hand for almost the enitre mid game because we were 4v5 most of the time. Because of CM, DS and mostly Mirana playing well, it created space for me and Alch to farm. I always carried a tp and rotated so we could get kills when they dove our towers or just to push lanes and get even more farm. I had PT, Manta, Helm, BKB at 25 mins. Alch also got farmed of course, but he almost threw this game because he decided to go 1v5 WITHOUT BKB several times for some reason. He didn't buy it until 34 minutes into the game. In the end, two and a half carrys were too strong combined with Dark Seer's wall, and could push into the t3 and raxes without problems. A good win indeed. While this Alch at least knew how to farm, he was also convinced that it was thanks to him, and not the rest of team that we won :DDDDDDD

Their track record isn't really the best when it comes to matchmaking (dendi getting matched with someone with 3 games not in stack for example).

Their track record isn't really the best when it comes to matchmaking (dendi getting matched with someone with 3 games not in stack for example). Valve's track record is fine. There are way too many variables that factor into matchmaking, so expecting perfect matchmaking all the time is quite frankly unrealistic. Plus even if matchmaking was flawed, you'd expect the number of times you get shitty teammates to balance out with the number of times the noobs end up on the other team. Claiming matchmaking is holding you down is just pathetic. People who complain are either getting extraordinarily unlucky over long stretches of time, or overestimating their skill level. We can never be sure which it is, but statistically the second option is far more likely. It's kinda like the whole "everyone driving slower than me is a moron, everyone driving faster than me is a maniac" thing. If most dota players here were to be believed, they're consistently the only good player in a sea of incompetence. It's quite impossible for so many people to hold this same perception, unless some kind of discrepancy between actual skill and perceived skill exists

What would the purpsose be of taking their items to the courier? I just had a game, that was fairly close until a pudge decided to flame and start feeding intentional. Then i dc'd for 2 minutes and have no items anymore and in the replay it clearly shows that he took my items on the courier to hide them in the forest, since he can't sell them. The game was really close, even 4vs 6, but that was the nail in the coffin. What made all worse was, when he was so proud of them self and the other team being so happy about their essential free win that took them over 50 min. So again i ask, if there is a good reason to take the items of the teammate when he is dc'd. Match 550891511
