It's actually a surprisingly strong item if you're snowballing - it lets you gank more easily, adds a decent amount of damage output, and gives you more possibilities when engaging in fights. I can't say it's ideal (I often think my teammates are going to mock me for getting it  ), but it's also not totally awful.

If you like it on BS... You should try it on Mid-Tiny (because Dagger->Combo requires too much apm  ).
For BS... I just think there are TONS of better options for him than Shadowblade which solves absolutely none of his problems and if your "snowball" gets stopped its pretty much useless?

1+4 vs 5. None of my team spoke at all in teamchat or called missing or anything, making my mid lane awful. I get a quick 0-2, making our team 5-7 on kills, and all 4 of my teammates decide to afk in the fountain and call for an end, calling me noob, etc.
Really frustrating. We weren't even close to losing. I really wish you could queue solo and fight only other solo-queuers.

Well, if they're well-ranked while solo-queue, then I have a lot more faith in their ability to communicate and work with other solo-queuers, as opposed to a group of 4 that might just be missing their 5th and largely ignore any solo-queuer.

I asked if he could play someone else.
He said no. He wanted that PA.
Enemy team rapes us because he didn't even have the intelligence to get a BKB against some heavy-burst heroes.

Shadow blade is pretty good on bloodseeker if your running him mid. Not only attack speed and damage (which all carries need) but allows for easy ganking, and easy escape after dives.
Its not perfect for every circumstance, but in general it is one of the better early game items to help you snowball. Ive seen many pro's use it on stream during pub games.
Probably not so usefull in an actual pro draft, but in pub games its great.

I mean by now I have the feeling they have a serious problem getting this mad over a video game. How can you insult people with homophobic and racial slurs just because they made one wrong split-second descision and not even realize 20 minutes later you looked like complete assholes?
I mean, getting angry for a second is understandable but this total ignorance towards own mistakes is actually really infuriating.
This ruins my Dota 2 experience much more than the worst feeders and the most idiotic item builds.

Also I think I'm gonna start keeping count of how many games a Brazilian PA doesn't win. I think I've been a part of at least 9 games where this has happened. Usually on my team of course -_-

Getting to 4.2k solo is proving to be impossible on small servers. Last 10 games have all been stomps, the thing that ticks me off is Valve system expected every single one of them to be completely in the opponents favour so I don't even lose that much MMR.

I kinda often play support… AND ALLWAYS die the first time, when my team is not initiating itself, whiteout using it ^^. Same goes for Pipe…

Well it sounds reasonable to me, my friend keeps trying to queue me to ranked all pick and I have to bitch about that everytime and demand a requeue to regular since I tryhard in ranked while he is the guy that takes ages to pick until he finally last picks some godawful hero that doesn't fit our line up and then proceeds to ask why he gets reduced gold, that happened yesterday.
If not obvious, he is not saying ban 5 stacks, he is saying ban 2-3-4 stacks.

So your friend is now going to play solo ranked, I don't see how the supposed problem has been adressed.

Basically this.
Typically I'd get BKB and Basher. But I was ganking pretty solidly by this point and Lothars makes you more killy. Which is nice when you're already killing everything because it makes you almost unstoppable.
And yeah, I figured that he just didn't know what it was. However the allchat kinda ruined the plan.

Lack of solo queue only is killing me to be honest. Its SO frustrating to be put with some of these stacks...they really badly need to put that option back in to tick. I really don't care if it extends the queue times.
