Dota have been so unfun lately that i've played only 2 games in the last 8 days. I love ranked but I cant stand it anymore, competition has always been fun for me in every game I've played but dota is a fucking cancer of braindead morons.
I'm not joking but in more of 50% of my ranked games there is always someone that leaves my team, trolls that ruin games on purpose with intentional feeds from min 1 , player does nothing and just take xp every 5 min just so he dont take abbandon. I'm not including that ppl are fucking terrible at this game but then everyone is.
I think I've had it .... I wish i could go back preranked when everyone did this but then I didnt really care. Its frustrating when you want to improve and try to be serious and rise in rank when ppl are doing this shit.

This is pretty much what happened. They just 5 manned everytime their ults were up which made our glorious sb completely useless.
The picks were horrible against their lineup but I was mostly complaining because our captain was an idiot who thought my late midas actually lost us the game.

5k mmr sniper losing 1v1 vs pheonix with a 2 level advantage. he maxed out shrapnel and rushed bots after feeding 3 times and not being able to farm on his "ez"lane

Sniper doesn't have a prayer vs phoenix regardless of levels I don't think. Max shrapnel is almost certainly the correct build in that circumstance.

wat? he was lvl 4 when phoenix was lvl 2 and the phoenix had 3 tangoes left while sniper had all his healing items? how does this warrant maxing shrapnel and not headshot+range to just harass him out of the lane?

Have u read Phoenix's abilities?
Just curious because max attack slow makes headshot + take aim pretty useless

yes he instagibs sniper and also has a spell that heals him for 1k hp
edit: thats certainly true. can he keep that up all the time? because i still dont think he has a chance when the sniper somewhat abuses the easier lane.

I'm sick to death of people who go out of their way to get some minuscule farm when the team wants to push or something. ALWAYS when you try to organise people to rosh or push, there'll be some twat who takes an extra 30 seconds to get there so he can farm 3 jungle creeps.
This game we can see they are going to push our T2 so 4 of us go to defend. Luna is away but has plenty of time to TP. Instead she runs to ancients and farms them (wasn't even a stack). She then TPs in FRONT of the tower when they're already there, so instead of our initiation being batrider it's a luna TPing in. needless to say we get raped and lost.

two correct ways to play the game:
- assume you will always have bad luck, play conservative and take what you can when he missteps
- play the odds, and gamble that sniper wont lock you down, knowing that you have over a 50% shot of getting a kill and walking away
You played the odds and lost. If you were already ahead, it was probably the wrong call to make.

Playing Chen in captains mode.
They play sniper offlane (LOLWAT) and we gank him several times. I finish a 9 minute mekanism + basi + boots after starting with two mud golem camps. We're on pace for a 20 minute rax, (they lost all outer towers except top/mid T2) but our Sven and Timbersaw insist on farming for the late game vs Sniper + Kunkka + Midas/BF Faceless.
We lost that game obviously.

Wow I hadn't actually got one of those afk jungle Hand of Midas no ulti actively refusing to contribute 10 damage gained at 30 minutes Legion Commanders until today. He was 0/8 and had the nerve to talk shit to people who were clearly better than him.
I should've known when he started with Press the Attack instead of MoC. Literally no idea not only how to play the hero, but about the game in general. "Stop taking bad fight". It's hard not to take fights when they are 5-man diving our towers and freely walking around in our jungle because you've doggedly contributed nothing for 15 minutes and they have complete map control now.

Feel genuinely sick now.
Last game I played. Was all random. I got CK. Team was really heavy on the melee and no proper support. Ok whatever. I'm laning with a Juggernaut who wants last hits too. I can deal with that, fine. Whatever. We're up against PA and Witch Doctor who immediately goes to work zoning me out in particular. Fine. I'll just outplay the guy. I get first blood on WD. Then another two kills in lane on him. No problem. I'm getting farmed and some nice kills to help me along.
I just couldn't stop the feed. I couldn't. The Broodmother on my team did nothing but feed. Undying was NEVER with the team and either we'd get 5v3d or he'd get picked off. Nobody else could carry the team by this point so I'm basically bearing the entire weight of my feeding team. And we lose. Of course. The PA who I'd managed to beat the support of to death and scare out of lane had just casually farmed up elsewhere and then went to work feeding off my teammates. Venomancer is causing everyone no end of trouble because my team insists on fighting when we've been 5 man poison novad.
So I couldn't do it. Fine it happens sometimes. Then I look at my match history. I'm on a seven game losing streak. I won two games all weekend. I've not had two wins in a row since last Wednesday/Thursday. In my last fifty two games I've won eighteen. I have four pages in a row with five or fewer wins per page. I have to look back to the first week of January to see a ~50% win ratio. Looking through them the majority of games there's always someone well into double-digit deaths and I can count the number of occasions its me on half a hand.
Please...just give me a break from the feed, Valve. -_-

try a 12 game losing streak  to be honest, i think we just need to be little less invested in these games and you'll feel a whole lot better

I dont understand why every 5th or so game is something like this http://dotabuff.com/matches/499149543 I get matched with a 4 stack and the match making system "expects" me to carry them.
