Basically I feel like I play him well enough to get at least 50% win ratio but I'm 3-9 with him. I know what you mean. I have a couple of heroes that it seems that no matter what I do or how well I play my team manages to lose the game. Puck is one of them (I'm 2-11 on Puck despite the fact I feel I've never felt I played that badly). Necro another (3-9). I have heroes that I'm clearly very, very weak on; so its not just "oh you're playing worse than you think". I just flat out cannot play Batrider for example, I think I've had one good game in 11 with him. But those two just...never work out for me, no matter how well or badly I do its always down to whether or not my team feeds. to be fair, one thing I do need to work on is casting fatal bonds. I get so much tunnel vision abouting ult, refersher, ult, I forget about that awesome spell=/. Also I heard that fatal bonds stack, is that true? As in fatal bonds, refersher, fatal? I think they do, yes. You want to bonds > ult > refresh > bonds > ult ideally. Thanks, ill work on that. In all fairness though I have heroes that im terrible with but good win rate. Think I used to be 5-0 on Medusa though im bad with her, another one was WD or ss. Guess its bound to happen with that many heroes
Honestly I don't even do it myself consistently on Warlock. I forget some part of it typically. But yeah, the optimal way is to stack it up twice before the second ult.
I can sympathise with that too. Its weird. Some heroes I'm just not convinced I'm any good at but I win anyway. I'm 7-3 on Magnus and 7-1 on Leshrac. Don't even know.
Ok, some obligatory QQ: Double midas into radiance Syllabear.
If it'd actually been in line with the game being slow paced I could understand it but nope. He got ganked a couple of times and the enemy took all of our T1s in about fifteen minutes. They were rushing around forcing early fights and ganking with Nightstalker and Pudge. Meanwhile he's still grinding away for the relic. Finally gets it at about 30 minutes.
We still won the game because the rest of the team worked really, really well together and the other team was overconfident and rarely bought detection. But damn it was hard dragging that dead weight around with us for most of the game...

Also, Spirit Breaker counters most splitpushing strategies, especially furion. lol what spirit breaker is good against furion but since when does sb stop pushes... Not to be a downer, but the fact that you have to ask that shows just the problem splitpushing provides in the lower brackets. One of the caracteristics of splitpushers is that they aren't very good in 1v1, not until they get somekind of critical item that lets them (for furion, thats a sheep stick). They usually survive off jumping in, clear a wave, and jumping out. The reason Spirit Breaker is so good against this is that he, on the other hand, man handles most people 1v1 until fairly late in the game. At the very least if he doesn't get the kill it does stop their immediate push, and you are now there to push it back. Since he also doesn't lose his target when they tp, blink or shadow blade away, it makes it very hard for splitpushers to do their job. That said. Bara in his current state doesn't go very well into the lategame. You can snowball off of him, but chances are you are you're not going to be able to do much once he geets his sheepstick + one dmg item. Especially once that BkB starts wearing down. At this point you just have to hope you've done enough for the team to capitalize on and bring you to victory. Come on you elitist piece of shit, I guess i wouldnt by crying here about splitpushing if i was playing in some shit tier ? Im sure in your 'god' tier splitpushing is a non existent problem.
The "shit tier" you're talking about is roughly 80% of the player base, including myself only a couple of months and still time to time. I don't have 100% of my games in very high either. I don't know why you think I'm elitist when you're the one dissing people.
"Come on" what exactly? I'm not the one talking trash about low mmr players, I never called it "shit tier". I simply stated a general problem in that area. And you have the fucking audacity to call me elitist? You need to take a good hard look in the mirror and wake up

That feel when your supports feed drow riki and silencer even when you go 7/2 as storm spirit...

appearently we lost because "sniper got freefarm vs viper" (solo viper vs safelane sniper/lion), it's not because of the PA.
also trying to explain to a Tinker that he should get a soul ring is like trying to convince a disabled man that he needs a wheelchair. After some persuasion he finally got it and...never used it.
I then got blamed for the loss. Sniper too fed.

I can feel that. People get this idea that being the carry means being "the hero," that you have to be a "Team player," that you run and fight and die as a team. And it's not until 45 minutes that they realize a few things:
-Getting 12 kills and dying 10 times isn't all that significant. -Every kill shares the 300-some gold among everyone present. You blew 3 ultimates off cooldown for the price of a melee creep. -The guy with "no teamwork," the "afk farmer," or whatever other silly little derogatory terms you invent to discredit the guy who doesn't try to show off and instead shows up 4 levels above you with 6 items to kick your teeth in does just that.
If you want to run around brawling we have gankers and initiators for that. And if you're the only carry on the team, then I don't give a damn how OP and Insta-win you think Phantom Lancer is, you get back in that lane and hit the damn creeps. Having a 15-minute diffusal blade was pretty cool. It stopped being cool half an hour later.

I think this is an instinctive reaction to the general pub mindset of "go go early 5 man" and "OMG STILL FARMING? COME FIGHT. ALL MID PUSH" and "if you didn't die in the fight when everyone else did thats a bad thing!" Having the strength of will to ignore it and instead make sure you win is pretty tough; not to mention if you DON'T follow those demands the team sometimes ends up just flat out AFKing or feeding "until you learn your lesson and come fight".
Several times I've been on something like a Void and I'm 15 minutes in with Boots, Midas and Battlefury and starting to rack up a ton of gold. Then I get whined at for not coming and 5-manning with them ("OMG WHERE MOM FIRST?"). Or I've been on Spectre and I'm expected to 5 man at about 7-8 minutes when I've got boots and half a diffusal.
Then, of course, you have the other games where they don't say anything but if you're not with your team they just feed horribly. Its all very aggrevating.
On the flip side some of my most enjoyable games have been games where my team was sensible enough to know I can jump in occassionally but that I also need space and time to farm. Total crapshoot what kind of team you get. :-\

single draft. my team makes strange decisions. Skywrath mage doesnt want to go mid and doesnt talk at all. so sand king is forced to mid. last pick is skeleton king... great. everyone plays poorly for some reason and the enemy team seems to be making good decisions. I wonder why. I take a look at hours played on both teams. my team is all 1000, theirs is all 2000. Oh I see, matchmaking hath decided I shall lose.
Also: why do people fear playing mid? I will never understand. some guys even give up mid so they can dual lane and steal last hits from a hard carry. whyyyyy?

I faced one sylla like this, he was pure AFK woods, when we casually kill him in his woods to take their last T2, I check his inventory and see the double midas. I can't resist to allchat "lol double midas". And he answers "we lost before I got my second midas", his mates were mad. The fun thing is that he would have crushed our safelane, ember spirit + treant protector.

That's one thing I know is that 95% of the time when I say to my carry to go farming, he does it. When I ask him to join teamfights, it's another story.

To be honest I don't really have a problem with dual midas jungle druid. You get them around 10-11 minutes in and after that you just need 2 boots and can start fighting because of the +60 attackspeed on his bear, making entangles common place. Of course you shouldn't still go radiance afterwards. If I do this I usually go something like -> dual midas, 2xphase boots, casual cloak on druid, usually vlad's as well, then build basher on druid and bear. Obviously this is not achieved thru afk jungle farm, from dual midas on you can usually get an ez gank going on the safelane.
I much rather see dual midas than someone trying to build a radiance. Even if you complete the radiance at around 20-25 mins, you are still not ready to join fights, which is kind of a necessity in pubs. In that sense double midas is actually much less farm-oriented than radiance (how ironic it may sound). Midas is so good on druid because it gives him everything he needs. The second midas is still good albeit it may not give exp anymore, it still provides attack speed and an increased gpm.

They don't want to go mid because it is a rather important position, losing mid is often equal to losing the game. So going mid with a hero you are not comfortable with is a waste of everyones time.
I would always go mid with skywrath if nobody else wants mid, but i think skywrath doesn't need to be in mid, he can support fairly well, in fact he is really good at making sure your carry can get a lot of farm by harassing , just buy a couple of claritys.

I don't think SWM is a good lane support, he has no stun, has shit armor so he can't trade right clicks and overall cant do much when they decide to dive your carry. His awful base damage doesn't exactly help either. His ult will come late as well, which is p bad for him as he needs to use his ult to snowball to really be effective. I'd never draft him as support anyway.
On the other hand he is a pretty strong mid laner because he can then sustain his spam thru having a bottle, and he will be able to level up his silence very fast. Can definitely hold his own against most strong mid heroes.

He has a slow, if you get dived he has a silence, and his Q is powerful and costs surprisingly little for the amount of damage it does.
I think you're underestimating it as an option really. A Skywrath early on with a couple of clarities should be able to push opponents around a lane quite well, freeing up farm space.

I hate Death Prophet. Hit r and either get tower or win teamfight. End of story. The only counter I can think of is some flavor of lifestealer bomb or dual nuking supports (Lion-Lina kind of shit to blow her up before she heals).

My preferred death prophet counter is walking the other direction.

this one guy on our team decided to play cm and instead of just sitting back and novaing shit and using frost bite to jungle she gets hit by arrows... three fucking times in a fucking row
and yes, our other support planted an observer before he rotated off mid
so basically their potm got a 2 minute phase boots...
edit: and i was yelling at him the freaking entire time telling him and pinging him where the arrows were coming from
nope

I wish teammates would stop thinking 'invisibility' = 'invincibility', especially now that Shadow Blade actually has a really long cd. Also never, ever saving for Buyback. "SRRY BRO I NEEDED THAT THIRD DAEDELUS" "AND I NEEDED A HEX" "AND I NEEDED MY MJOLLNIR"
ahhh well, this isn't TI4, there's only so much I can ask from complete strangers.
