Please remember that while this thread is for QQ and venting about the game, racism is not tolerated here on LD. |

I have a couple of heroes that it seems that no matter what I do or how well I play my team manages to lose the game. Puck is one of them (I'm 2-11 on Puck despite the fact I feel I've never felt I played that badly). Necro another (3-9). Thanks, ill work on that. In all fairness though I have heroes that im terrible with but good win rate. Think I used to be 5-0 on Medusa though im bad with her, another one was WD or ss. Guess its bound to happen with that many heroes

Is it possible that commendations counteract reports? I just played with a guy who demanded to go mid pudge after the first wave spawned, was overtly racist and cursed at the entire team. He has 700 games and ~150 commendations. That is really only possible if his party commends him every game he plays. Either it was a fluke and he just got out of low priority and about to go back in it, or do commendations actually stop you from going into low priority?

He could have commends from when you could do it outside the game, and commend trading in channels was common.

I'm sorry. I clearly labeled that in such a way that its impossible to understand what I meant. What I meant to say was "In games where mmr is low enough for the game to be placed in medium or high bracket"..

Not to be a downer, but the fact that you have to ask that shows just the problem splitpushing provides in the lower brackets. One of the caracteristics of splitpushers is that they aren't very good in 1v1, not until they get somekind of critical item that lets them (for furion, thats a sheep stick). They usually survive off jumping in, clear a wave, and jumping out. The reason Spirit Breaker is so good against this is that he, on the other hand, man handles most people 1v1 until fairly late in the game. At the very least if he doesn't get the kill it does stop their immediate push, and you are now there to push it back. Since he also doesn't lose his target when they tp, blink or shadow blade away, it makes it very hard for splitpushers to do their job.
That said. Bara in his current state doesn't go very well into the lategame. You can snowball off of him, but chances are you are you're not going to be able to do much once he geets his sheepstick + one dmg item. Especially once that BkB starts wearing down. At this point you just have to hope you've done enough for the team to capitalize on and bring you to victory.

Fucking Drow. Slows you, then murders you with her auto attacks. If you can right-click, you can play Drow. Same with sniper. BS Heroes.

Extremely squishy heroes with no escape and pretty bad laning. Play another month before complaining, they're nowhere near as bad as you think.

Against Drow in particular, any flavor of illusions or hard disable wrecks her. She can stand and kite 1 person, but even with a fast BKB, she's a sniper without the range. Very dependent on harassing the lane opponent with orb spam and having a team to defend.

Ursa demanding mid over Viper is a legitimate QQ right?
|
I had a roaming Antimage in a game once... with a very very safe lane... Same game where Bristleback decided to right click a hero, drag the creep agro into a small opening between trees which I was trying to use to escape as Windranger using windrun from pudge after he hooked me... I know how you feel

This isn't a QQ on my team but myself haha. I as gyro went full build then sold some shit and bought 2 rapier channeling my inner XBOCT. Proceeded at 60 min to drop them both to a team we were mauling and they almost counter pushed and won. Luckly a little while later we got a really good fight against there bad team comp and i got 1 back and we won haha. I had nothing after I dropped them just phase boots a bkb and a helm of the dominator. My team was raging so hard haha I would have been too just thought that was funny.

If you're raging or butthurting over some losses, just play some Furion to feel better about yourselves...

Hey! While I know that you're not asking for advice I'd like to throw out my 2 cents anyway.
Watching your own replays can be amazing for improving, but often not that useful unless you know what you're looking for. In general, and I say this as someone most likely beneath you, watching replays to recognize specific timings on your hero really helps you maximize your game impact as there is never just one mistake or one area that anyone can improve upon. I often think of DotA replay watching being comparable to SC2.
In SC2 a lot of builds and timings are done to maximize your damage potential compared to your opponents ability to hold it. One specific DotA example would be bounty hunter. Its pretty commonly accepted that maxing shuriken first to maximize your burst damage to get quick kills is the best way to skill (in general).
Watching your own replays and finding times where instead of farming you could have obtained a kill, or pushed a tower, or whatever else can often inspire you to make better decisions in future games. Just recently I've rushed out 20 or so bristleback games to get a better feel on his strengths and what works on him and what doesn't. At first I was utterly useless but after watching a few of my own replays I feel that I've gotten much better at making a positive impact with him.
Anyway good luck and I hope this helps!

Last time i played furion it was pl + furion splitpushing against a wombocombo team... our other 3 players were more or less irrelevant. 50 min of a-moving necro units.
I dont think i'll ever touch that hero again, at least for some time.
EDIT: some recent qq. I just had a match where our carry jugger ended up having less impact than the enemy void throughout the entire game, despite outlaning him as clock and killing him twice. Even the mirana supporting void early on got more farm. Instead me and our ancientfarming invoker carried it. Go figure.
