First pick on their team is a lion, ours is enigma weaver. Nothing about these picks are bad its just the order lets me think the rest of this team is going to suck something hard Let me tell you, you'll win this game but just because the opponent is worse than your team My 2 cents pls.. You were right, luckliy their team was worse, their best player was on DP and got a quick 25 charge BS and a heart. But if you kill her enough she becomes useless and we won the game. Our void did get a ags though, saying how great a item it was.
I know it man, it always comes the same. You team did retarded picks, you thought you lost the game from the beginning and the other team appears to be a bunch of monkeys. In the end you ask yourself wtf I am doing here.....

I wasn't in low prio before that game, so it's obvious that that abandon is what put me there.. I've been in low prio before, but that was a while ago. I've read that once you've been in low prio once, your account is blacklisted and you get put there again more quickly. But that is also a completely shitty system if that is the case. I wouldn't mind it if they didn't flash all this stuff in front of you as well, to remind you that you've been a bad boy. The queue times, game quality etc is all mostly the same in low prio, but they're systematically being condescending about it. For abandons: if you abandon twice within 48 hours, you get put in low prio. For reports its a bit more complicated. It depends on how many games you have played, the interval between the reports, and how often you've been in low prio before. The two above does not communicate with each other, so its not possible to get in low prio from one abandon and a report, for instance. So from a single game, you can not get placed in low prio no matter what you do. It has to happen over time.
well I didn't abandon twice in 48 hours, so I dunno wtf happened in that case. Where are you getting your info from?

Patch notes, Valve blog and The Yango, mostly.
You've probably been reported more than you think you are, and that game was the last straw.

they really need to make all that shit transparent.. every detail about the report system, they need to notify you when and by whom you get reported, and they need a system to file issues like mine, where I get an abandon for a game where steam is having issues. Or I just need to uninstall this piece of shit game

Telling people who reported them is an awful idea, lol. That just gives people who get reported an avenue to further rage or grief the people they were raging at or griefing to get themselves reported in the first place. The whole idea of reporting only makes sense anonymously.

that awful feeling when you try to gank nature prophet as a roaming support and end up giving him the first blood

it gives you no way to improve. I seriously have no idea why I was reported outside of that one game. I mean, I had a win streak for a few games before that.. the only thing I can think of is one loss where I played WD hard support and ended up 1-12 or something. But the entire team did shit and I had no items to protect me against Zeus ult (think I fed him like 8 deaths on ult or something) because I was buying wards all game. If that's the kind of stuff you get reported, then the whole system is completely worthless

I know that feel bro. I had a moment where I got the 0:00 rune and somehow, I ended up dying cuz of miscommunication.

Why did they change the low p time format. There's no way i'm playing 4 low p games. Finito.

Captain Abaddon manages to remove literally zero stuns in a 40 minute game. No, this is not exaggeration. Literally. Not. Once. His explanation for why we lost? "I told you we should have gone aggro tri. Naix is bad tri v tri."
. . .
Cheeeeeeeeeesus Christ.
Edit: For the record, and because I think it's too easy to blame everyone else for losses, I had a bad game too and if I had played really well I could have maybe just secured a win. Still, game was really hard whatever, and when the worst player on the team, someone who has done nothing but make the game harder (by making you falsely assume he'll do something to help and by leeching exp), starts bitching. . .it gets too much.

Except they shoot themselves in the foot, because it's almost at the stage where it's easier to make a new account, trade your items across and pwn some n00bz than it is to actually play through 5 hours of the worst dota on the planet. You probably get back near your old level in about the same time.
The new system seems really brutal for genuine players who have bad weeks, but barely a problem at all for the real griefers who have a million alts anyway.
Not to mention the fact that the main report for low prio is "intentional feeding", which is also the most likely to be given out maliciously to players whose only crime is having a bad game.

Playing with your team is how you catch up. The doom you're so upset with was involved in one more kill but had four fewer deaths. So while I would describe his involvement as being equally unacceptable, his presence on the team appears to have been slightly less detrimental. Additionally your items choices weren't smart. Early Dominator Yasha pickups are only useful if you have the room to afk-farm for 30 minutes, which you made very clear was not the case. Those items don't help you in teamfights, which is what you should've been focused on. I'm not surprised you found yourself being useless in fights given that you lacked a BKB vs a Jakiro, Nyx, and Crystal Maiden, not to mention the Radiance burn of PL.
So overall I strongly disagree with your sentiment that you were forced to take risks and farm in unsafe regions-- doing so was your mistake. What do you think I should have done instead? I was thinking of going drums and then into BKB earlier but I was just too mad to think properly. On Luna I view drums as a luxury item in scenarios where you want or expect to teamfight early-- something I'll get if my farm is decent early. Sometimes I'll finish drum before treads even if I get a burst of gold from early kills or towers. A bracer however is a necessity if you aren't getting flawless farm for an extended amount of time (beyond the laning phase). After that if you think you're going to be fighting you bee-line to BKB. Even without farm Luna's level 1 ult is good in early ganks or counter-ganks, and her level 2 ult is good period in teamfights, but without the ability to move with your enemies you can't get the most out of it. So a BKB if nothing else lets you move during a fight, to avoid creeps and focus the enemies you want the beams to hit (the squishiest targets). It lets you get more autoattacks off as well, which aren't insignificant due to her aura (and glaives if you have them).
As a severely underfarmed carry who can't get a break to catch-up by your goal is to try to kill the easiest targets in teamfights. If possible you go after the other team's supports, but above all else you focus on surviving. By being in the fight you contribute your aura, your ult or the threat of it, a mini-stun if they have a powerful channeled skill, or just a generally decent long-ranged magical nuke. Even if you get zero kills you are helping your team and receiving gold and xp for every kill your team gets anyway.
If your team wins the fight you being alive is very important, as you can either push with your team as an immediate follow-up contributing your aura and glaives to capitalize on your victory and compound your temporary advantage or if there's actually a free lane following the fight you can split-push instead and catch up a bit on farm. Additionally if you help your team and survive but lose the teamfight you can try to delay the enemy from doing just that by trying to split push, forcing them to divide their attention or risk making a trade rather than solely compounding their advantage. If you're dead all of these options vanish.

I got a blink storm mid and ofc feed. there should be a fucking way to punish those retards. They stole my time and nerves. I don't want to play with those mfucking idiots. I don't deserve it. I don't deserve the games that I raped my lane and stupidly stomped by snowballing well fed other lane opponents. I am sick, tire, angry and mad right now.
This game needs a fucking fucking fucking ranked ladder which punishes retarded troll play. I hate trolls and I hate to play with them. Either my team or the opponent team. I hate trolls.

Thanks for the advice. I'l keep this in mind for my carry play.

So, playing a pub all pick game. No supports, so I pick shadow shaman. Buy courier and sentry wards since they have a broodmother. Spirit breaker (with a quelling blade) and elder titan with random gold (but no items) both go bottom.
I'm like um guys, why doesn't ET go solo top and me/sb do bottom. ET's logic was that I was last to leave the fountain so "fuck you go top." Anyway I do ok in solo offlane shadow shaman vs chaos knight/broodmother (because they were bad) even kill them both when they dive me under tower by trapping one in serpent wards, though I died as well there as well as another time.
Rest of the game went as might be expected... Ended up muting all but one of my teammates. Was an especially horrid bunch since my pub games lately have all been decent'ish.
Oh and my favorite person on our team (the one who I didn't have to mute) was the Medusa who did ancient farming.

How the heck do you fight a death prophet? Seems like if she has decent support from other heroes her exorcism is just an oncoming wave of death and you can't do anything to stop it. Perhaps this is what it felt like to fight the Colossus deathball in the early days of WoL?
