It's probably just luck and small sample size, but if your stack is less than 5 it's possible that when you Skype you don't communicate with your non-stack teammates enough.

It's because having a somewhat serious 5 way communication can sometimes lead to people over complicating the game.
It's sometimes much more chill playing without VoIP in a stack filled with friends. You can listen to music, not take the game as serious or as stressed as having 5 calling out things and so on. Your also focusing on what people are saying over Skype which might take some amount of concentration away from the actual game, talking while playing is a tough balancing act.

I forgot to tick the no party queue option when I was playing on an account that wasn't exactly in tip top shape. 5 man stacks. The end.

I recently started playing and it seems that i only get matched up with complete beginners. I have knowledge of the genre because i used to play similiar games.
Ok so i played a game where i was juggernaut and i had a really good start 5-0 or something like that, nobody bought courier - i go as hard carry and get the goddamn courier 8-9 minutes in since nobody got it when i was asking in chat. Ok, so later in the game after we lost all of our first turrets, i was asking for wards, desperatly farming for a bkb. Of course nobody got wards, after spamming the "need wards" 20 times, someone was writing something back in a language i can't even read. Why are they even allowed to be on a server that is preference english? Still nobody bought wards, a couple minutes later, roshan got killed and my team trys to rush there getting killed 1 by 1. They push down both middle baracks after this it was pretty much over.
Why are people picking support if they don't want to buy support items? Why is nobody able to unterstand that a carry with a level/gold advantage can't really buy support stuff, especially if he is farming for a key item like bkb?

Language preference means nothing. I get Russians on my team all the time and I only queue on US East with English as preferred language.
Take a game I had earlier tonight. I randomed Lina and laned with a Faceless Void who was russian. He actually spoke english but when I asked him to type in english he just started this whole debate asking questions and shit instead of playing the game. He basically did shit in lane and got me killed a bunch of times, never helping. He continued to bm the rest of the game saying "fuck americans" and other shit.
I seriously hope they get a mod or something that allows me to ban Russian ip's from getting in my games. It's so fucking bad at this point...makes me wanna quit Dota 2. Great game, but I am sick of these fuckers making it such a painful experience.

russians havent really bothered me, its just the south americans that queue USE for some reason.........

One thing that annoys me greatly lately is idiots who think we can push up the ramp onto tier 3 towers. One game this Crystal Maiden keeps telling me "we need you here to push" as bounty hunter when I'm trying to regulate the other 2 lanes which the entire team ignores. They still push high ground regardless and blame my tactical decision to back off as a result of the loss of the team fight - well you dived in, I said b. We need more map control - there was absolutely no need to push high ground, we had a massive advantage in levels and farm and the best objective possible right now was total map control, then siege high ground, leaving them no choices for split pushing. Pushing high ground at the moment was also risky with Sven's stun and Windrunner's shackleshot when no one on the team has BKB. Having 3 individuals disabled in a team fight for a few seconds is disastrous and I don't like taking unfavorable engagements when we could 100% guarantee the success with a single item in this case on our carries. The other two enemy creep waves were getting huge and they were really close to the tier 3s on our side in both lanes. The mid lane had the tier 2 down, tier 3 left while the other 2 side lanes still had tier 2s. Even when they were pushing I did not see a single ward used to keep an eye of the hero movements on high ground or any on the side in case they jumped us with smokes or anything invisibility - a fundamental mistake which I didn't point out til this CM started bitching at my decision making. Instead of getting a force staff to get our stunned team mates out of the line of fire, this imbecile builds a Linken's Sphere... What's more interesting is no map awareness and the walking in circles wasting time camping the mid lane which had rax down later... And the negligent team lets one set of rax falls to a creep wave - that's embarrassing. We also had a TA in this game who dived 1v5 at times... being responsible for almost half the deaths on our team. My friend and I were offlane, didn't get much farm, focused more on denying their carry the farm with denying yet our my friend, Slark, out farms the Skeleton King who partied with this moronic CM. This CM was also in lane VS Sniper and Windrunner in the safe lane, babysitting the SK and got killed quite often - understandable but positionally, with wards, you shouldn't get caught...
Getting real sick of pubs right now.

Just gotta love it when you go solo support, get wards all game, gang all the time (and succeed), and then the team decides to feed by overextending lanes, being blind, being bad in general. And just to make it worse, our SF complains about not getting wards and that he won early game (as in: we helped him get kills, but he's so full of shit that he thinks he did it by himself).

i hate meepo, it is so silly, get vladimirs and meka and you can solo roshan by minute 10. If you have some basic micro you can stack 3 creep camps at the same time. Every single time a meepo is in the game he snowballs out of control even if he gets killed early, it just doesn't matter if you kill him 10 times he will just farm like crazy in the jungle. And don't even get me started on the infinite net spam.

Regarding that, I don't know if they were fixed, but for a long time the SA servers(or, as one would rightfully call it, the Brazilian servers) have some terrible routing to south american ISPs outside of Brazil.
The effect is that Argentina, Peru, Chile and other countries in the region will prefer to queue to USE than to SA(Uruguay may prefer SA still since they seem to use a similar routing to brazilian ISPs)
There are also a couple Brazilian ISPs that suffer from the same problem, but the number of users are very low compared to the main ISP(Global Village Telecom)
There is also the fact that Mexico and all of Central America will prefer to queue to USE, causing a big group of spanish speakers playing on USE. That attracts spanish speaking South Americans to play there.
And finally, kids who got bullied on SA server(common sight) or people who are sick of the brazilian shitty metagame(which got better in the last few months) will go to another server in order to play with "better people".
TLDR; Several reasons to queue to USE, but none of them that can justify a russian queueing to USE or south africa. Hell, I've seen a russian on South America, and all he did was complain about lag all. game. long. ugh.
QQ time: My friend is an idiot. Like, he was becoming a really promising player... until he started to think he is better than other players. I mean, he finds several mistakes and he is right, but god is he a terrible player.
Everytime he points a mistake by someone(we play side-by-side), I point a mistake of his. He does so much shit, like not using his skills, forgetting the existance of Blademail, ulting people without knowing what his ult does...
Oh, and when I ask him to buy wards? "Fuck no I need to finish my aghanims". Ugh.
And when we lose, his attitude is usually "If only that guy made this... It was a good fight tho" and I'm always thinking "If you played like I've been yelling for the last hour, we'd have facerolled these fuckers"
I guess this is a phase on everyone's gaming life tho. He's been playing for 5 months I think.

Why do people pick Pudge if they know they're not going to land a single hook? I've asked players "is this your first time with Pudge?". The response is usually "nope". IF IT'S NOT THE FIRST TIME, YOU SHOULD KNOW YOU SUCK WITH HIM. STOP FUCKING PICKING HIM THEN.
I dunno if there's anything worse than a Pudge that flings hooks everywhere and feeds because he can't land one.

Its not as if with practice a bad player becomes good. And even if that were true its not like random public pub games would be a good place to practice.

I'm afraid to pick Pudge again  had two horrible games with him. Randomed him some time ago, swapped with a teammate taht asked for him. He was one of the worst players I've ever seen.

Yeah that could be a big factor. I was the 5th with a 4stack last night and all calls were really late and just stuff like pinging me.
Plus they sent Luna mid when we had AA and Bane....yeah.

Why do people who do not communicate in english have the english language preference box ticked... Played a RD game, 4stack + me vs 5 stack. The team said to me two things: Windrunner told that she'll go to the offlane when I asked will she mid or do I go there, as I played clinkz and we were only reasonable candidates. The second time is when Sven tells me that: "You have a new raeport Clinkz" when they're dancing around our base for umpteenth minute. Immediately after the message sven dies for 11th time and I ask is the report for feeding? I was 5-5 at the moment, the only one with non-negative KD-ratio in our team. If you play as a stack please for the love of kittens and bunnies and anything that's beautiful in the world do try to communicate with people. And if you don't speak/don't want to speak english don't play with english as your language preference.
