Uh..... so because we arent pros we shouldn't strive to play well? Youre logic is highly flawed and it's generally much better for sidelane supports to be roaming on mid than vice versa. You say mid lane is the most important lane, so by your own logic sidelane supports should be making an effort to help mid win even harder. If Kunkka just sat mid and kept farming while you guys avoided feeding the opposing mid the game would have been an easy victory. Players with your mindset are some of the most frustrating people to have on your team. Don't just expect your mid to continuously bail you out without any consideration for the implications of doing so. Maybe you need to observe more high level dota and understand why good mids know when to stay put and when to gank. Its really stupid when pubs cry and cry and expect mid to be the only person rotating, just think about how inefficient and predictable that is.

I get a carry veno who goes aquila treads midas (in that order) and never levels plague wards. A jungle batrider who goes urn first, and doesn't finish blink until 12+ minutes. My friend picks Timbersaw, so obviously 5th pick is a Dark Seer because we needed an offlane. As the mid Silencer, I have to buy and place my own wards, get 0 help with controlling runes, have to upgrade the courier, and get blamed when the Dark Seer feeds. Apparently I'm bad for not ganking, because we had so much kill potential in all of our lanes right? Their Phantom Assassin has a battlefury at 13 minutes, but that's when I noticed it, not necessarily when she finished it. I dunno what the DS was doing to give her complete freefarm, I'd expect that lane to be a bitch to farm in for PA. I can't do anything because Bat only uses Lasso while solo, my mid lane wasn't as advantageous as it should have been since I had poor rune control due to no support, so my Mek is later than it should have been. Somehow all of this is my fault. I used to queue very-high, I don't even know what this shit is. I get a team with people who make retarded picks, don't know how to play the heroes they picked, and make no effort to do play as a team at all. Q fucking Q.

Turn on the lights. Daughter covered from head to toe in vomit. It's on our pillows. mattress, covers - the god damn walls. Daughter runs up to hug me and get comfort. There goes my favorite t-shirt, covered in vomit.
Type "sorry our daughter is sick" in chat and abandon game. Spend next 1,5 hours cleaning up vomit and changing everything. Gonna burn the pillows, buying new ones at IKEA in the weekend. I fucking hate going to IKEA - upcoming weekend is ruined due to fucking IKEA. Sunday night is over when the last of the vomit is cleaned up, now i have to sleep to get to work. And IKEA next weekend, fml.

Say im laning offlane with lich. storm wants to go mid, so the last guy needs to pick, guess what he picks? AM fucking AM. and his logic? that fucking AM counters PL, and im like fucking no, not when they actually have mid game teamfight and we have 4 people who need farm and your literally dead weight on the fucking team for 20 minutes. so medusa and am lane together, am lets medusa get farm, the tower falls at 8 minutes, to be expected because its an AM fucking medusa lane. Atleast they dont feed, my friend goes to place a ward and dies for it in a lane that we are shitting on them when i told him not to place the ward right now. We still shit on the pl in our lane though, i have 88 cs and he has fucking 32. But then they start just camping lane and am comes to lane to get some cs, so im like k, guess ill jungle, he needs to get something so he can fight.
But the bad thing is, we were holding our own and could have won if we had a SINGLE playmaker on our team, like say that storm, but you see, our storm spirit was actually retarded, like straight up grade a retarded, guess what his skill build was. He didnt get a single point into static remnant till fucking level 13... yes, you heard that right, not a single point into static remnant till level 13 i wondered why he didnt gank, or do... anything other than feed.... So basically the storm didnt make a SINGLE play in a 50 minute game oh yeah, and everyones farm but mine and medusas was ass, including the enemy teams, i can only imagine if the storm actually could do something and the am wasnt dead weight because hes an AM, oh how differently that game would go.

RD, was thinking between Dazzle and Tide, I did not click fast enough and ended up with Doom.
Also, had a game with a Turk and someone from West Europe. AR Game, Turk was Sven and the other guy was Venge on the safelane. I knew things were gonna go bad when Venge did not get wards or courier and Lesh had to get them. Venge also stole Svens last hits at the bottom lane which made Sven really mad. I don't think our pull camp was blocked anyway and Sven kept on tell Venge not to ks creeps. We were losing bad 20 minutes in until their KoTL disconnected. We tried to wait but our VS kept on unpausing the game and earned himself some more reports by trash talking our opponents. Our opponents decided to let things go when one of our teammates said that they don't need KoTL to win the game anyway (they already had raxes on middle lane when this happened). Well, they didn't win. I managed to pull off some good counter initiation with Treant and we took it in almost an hour.

the idea is that you can control the outcome of a game more directly compared to playing support/carry. so if someone thinks that he's better than the people he's matched with, he would naturally want to play mid to win.
