I came moderately close today, and it really was just spite. Yeah, we might have won, but at that point I didn't want to. I probably could have carried us for a while, but that would have given wins to a group of people I'd come to hate. And while I didn't destroy all my items or actually start feeding, my motivation to play well was severely affected. I ended up just farming an Agh's and trying to hit the most Bulba hooks possible.

my QQ: got off to a stupidly good start as Kunkka, but even though PL chose an incredibly dumb build (Vlads->Vanguard->Diffusal) I still couldn't do anything to him.

Man i really hate it when people last pick zeus after creeps spawn and run mid when I'm already there as panda. He then proceeds to flame me the whole game. Though it was some consolation that he was on the other team the next two games and I destroyed him with nevermore :D

Did they change the AFK abandon mechanics or something?
I had a Zeus and Ogre AFK because we were slightly behind, who only "tried" again once I solo took 5 towers in a 3v5, with a 20 minute gap of them sitting in trees doing nothing. Why didn't they get an abandon?

Depends where they were sitting I guess. If they had an enemy creep walk past and die within XP range at least once every 5 minutes, they would have been ok. It's based on experience gained.

I can totally understand why someone would play LoL. I can't play solo pubs. I just got matched with a Russian Shadow Shaman who went 2-16. A Spanish doom and a pudge who hit level 10 at 40 minutes without talking at all. Communication is important and dota's matchmaking fails at this.

I will admit it, as much as i HATE people who grief, i have destroyed one persons item one time. It was a Spanish BH who just kept talking in Spanish over voice. We BEGGED him not to go Bfury because its a stupid fucking item, but at 30 minutes in he finishes a pres with a claymore in his inventory and i lost it. I took the cour and me and him had a tug of war where i was eventually able to put it on the ground and kill it.
I know it was a dick move, and i have never done it again, but it felt fucking GOOD

Game didn't start off well at all. Dire side using Veno, laning with Timbersaw against PL and Riki. Should be easy right? Just go play tower defense while occasionally hitting them with poison. Well no, I got caught off position at times and fed 3 kills. Riki managing to kill our jungling ursa did not help at all. We were down a kill or two early on until they somehow manage to fuck it up. Their PL and Riki weren't able to get items, and I warded a LOT. Ended up winning. Glad my teammates didn't QQ and give up early cuz I died a handful of times early on.
Game stats are weird, I had the highest GPM. Those plague wards are really something.

To be honest sometimes you just see red, hard to control all of the time. I've never destroyed items but I have basically just given up on games where we could still win because of being totally pissed off at someone.

I don't understand how my friend can have 1800 hours in Dota and still suck ass at the game. Even after the gold income was buffed, he still has trouble doing a simple task.

I've been playing exclusively lately with 4-5 people every game, and we actually lost after 10 wins in a row.

Fountain camping does not annoy me. I don't care if the ennemy does it, because the game will end soon enough as people usually wait for at least 2 lanes of rax down before doing it. But not this time they did it after only one lane and for fucking 10 minutes, longest fountain camp I ever had. It was pudge brood sk WD camping fountain and clinkz lurking if we tried to TP smoke out of the base. It's the first time fountain camping annoys me. The worst part being they also forced a 2 minutes pause during this.

Valve allows you penalty-free abandons if you do it infrequently enough.
Also 5-man DC's dont count as abandons.
Also figuring out how to escape is decently fun (as is force-staffing the enemy pudge into your fountain etc).

People pick Mirana every single game, and every single mirana i ever see is completly useless besides maybe landing an OK arrow now and then.. its almost as bad as pudge.

Yeah, but with Mirana you can count on her being useless no matter which team she's on, while Pudge only ever sucks when he's on your team and lands ALL THE HOCKS when playing on the enemy team....

I don't see the appeal of Mirana either. She's a little bit of everything but not consistent enough to be considered a good pick.
