we were losing all lanes and the game looked like it was over. everyone was kinda pissed as you would expect.
then suddenly we have one really good/lucky teamfight and wipe them.
big creep wave at bottom, our spectre who had his radiance after that fight goes to farm it, but nyx steals pretty much the whole wave with impale.
i was still pretty pissed and i told him to "let spectre farm you idiot". BIG MISTAKE!
nyx proceeded to feed + feed couriers for the next 25 minutes (yes it still took our opponents that long to finish cause we were snowballing off of that one team wipe, but in the end courier feeding was too much sadly).
his reason?
"i don't like it when people are being rude."
i'm thinking it's about time for him to get off the internet then.

Youre not playing mid correctly if you arent winning at least 3 lanes for your team simultaneously.

Not really, I'm quite annoyed by these mid pros who pick something like OD and never leave their lane to gank or do something. Mid lane is the most important lane in the game because you are probably gonna have a level and farm advantage over the sidelanes so it's your job to do something about the lanes that are losing, no matter why the lanes are losing.
Just lost a game because our mid Kunkka never left mid lane while the enemy mid ganked and won the game for them.
While something like this MIGHT work in a pro game, in a pub game it won't work.
tl;dr: Gank the sidelanes even if you are not supposed to, don't wait for other people (ie supports) to do that for you because you are not playing a pro game.

If you're a Dark Seer and you're going 3-15 and it was you who singlehandedly fed the enemy Alchemist/NP into unkillable status, please, for the love of god, don't bitch and moan that "your team" is shit and that "I just melt and I don't know why". And further, don't blame the PA and QoP who were both in position to win the game they were wrecking people so hard before you went on a feeding fest.

Its not at all that the game-ruiner was doing anything OK or right, its that the person QQing in this thread felt that he was somehow justified in being an asshole because "its the internet" and the other person doesn't belong on the internet if they aren't OK with being belittled and insulted.

If you fuck up intentionally (nyx didn't blunder) and get called out on it, acting like its the other person's problem is not appropriate.
Insults don't make things better but they also don't ruin the game like his response did.

firstly, "idiot" is pretty harmless compared to the stuff you will see in most games of dota.
secondly i made it clear that everyone on my team including me was a bit mad in that game because it was going so poorly so that's what made me say that.
and finally i wasn't justifying calling him an idiot with "its the internet, deal with it". i was just pointing out that if you hate rudeness this much then most of the internet, AND ESPECIALLY most of dota is really hostile territory for you.

So we are losing, im doing pretty crappy but im Medusa, not all is lost.. Get we easily win next team fight, push mid and 2 of them bb. 3 of us can take those 2 and if we wipe them again we can definitely rax them. I call the fight, then bat isn't there, just see him randomly running back... apparently he dced right at the start of the fight... we get them pretty low but I die, they get the rapier and easily win the next push. Burns cause I just started to get hope, and it coulda been such a nice comeback.. oh well

Answer according to my team: Dazzle (me) solo suicide, Pudge mid, Brood/Slark/Doom Trilane
Slark ended the game after 45 minutes with Treads, Wand, Vanguard. Game was not good.
My two other games were also filled with retards (on my team) and really, really good players on the other team. The fuck matchmaking

Sigh, 3 games in a row that where just really terrible. One game we had a last minute pudge pick who went offlane with Morphling. Next game we had a last minute Meepo jungle that went 0-12. Game after that we where winning with a farmed riki/team, people where buying silly items etc. Then 3 people decided to take rax vs 5, our team died and we last 2 lanes of rax. GG 
Not a good night of dota.

Seriously, ganking requires
1) Wards in river
2) Rune control + finding good runes
Otherwise it's just a massive waste of time. Because you not only might fail, but more seriously you are losing the farm in mid.
On heroes like QOP or Pudge, ganking can be more beneficial. For QOP, blink allows her to traverse map quickly. For Pudge, he is unlikely to get much gold out of mid.
However, for OD or Viper for example, they are much better off dominating mid and shutting down opposing mid solo. Speaking from experience (100% WR as mid solo viper in VH).

Not really a game QQ. We were winning early on and I was warding our lane against Riki and Weaver and Riki started to feed us cuz apparently he did not know how to play when the enemy wards the lane. He starts to trash talk and shit and my friend trash talks him as well. It's mostly correcting Riki's grammar and the occasional "noob" and "we don't even need a gem to kill you" kind of trash talk. I pm'ed my friend over Steam to stop, cuz he might get reported for communication abuse. I thought he'd stop but he didn't and it irritated me cuz the Riki was just being butthurt and my friend decided to trashtalk. Some people really just won't let things like these pass. ~_~

I had a bane abandon this game - in the offlane he keeps pushing the lane, keeps spamming all his mana, gets into bad spots and almost dies. I tell him he's playing too aggressive and abandons -.-
