Fuck logic. I actually stopped playing Antimage for this exact reason. For some reason I get away with it on Void. I think thats mainly because people at least recognise Void gets really strong lategame and partially because I tend to get a fast Midas which really helps. But my Antimage winrate is garbage, usually because of people demanding I come help at 10 minutes in. | ||

No Shrapel snipers i suppose? xD I used to hate the hero like you, and i actually still do (same to many heroes that I'd ask them to swap just to avoid the auto-lose game) and it is actually true that there is a slightly higher chance of seeing someone competent with the hero when they randomed (still around 50/50 though). Fuck logic. From my experience it's actually a lot more common to find carries who can't distinguish when to fight or farm, or recognize situations where the team needs them to contribute early. They blind farm big items while oblivious to the fact that it's possible to fight on a carry without having a lot of items. Then when the team gets destroyed (while they farm ofc) and the other carry snowballs off all the kills, they blame their team for fighting 4v5 and feeding, not recognizing that the disadvantage is in large part due to the fact that they went for a greedy as hell farming build. I always cringe when our lanes are pressured, our towers being pushed and the enemy constantly 5 manning... then I click my carry's inventory and see he's rushing radiance on Spectre, brown boots ---> battlefury on AM, Helm first on Luna, or max greevil's greed on Alchemist. I've played with so many people who fail to recognize that there are situations as a carry where you have to make concessions for your team. Yes you can "just stop 4v5", but against an aggressive enough team that might leave you with no towers, no map control, no ability to contest rosh and much less farming space. | ||

lol also this is like a stealth-brag, but just had a game that was a complete stomp, and their dazzle had like...stick, boots, wards at 40 minutes, I was Axe. Each time Dazzle would land a 1hp astral grave on one of his four carries and I'd just insta-ult it. Felt like I was kicking a puppy on repeat | ||

I kid you not they drafted Spirit Breaker, Wisp, PL, Furion, Troll Warlord with PL and SB having random gold. While thats a greedy draft we couldn't punish it since we had a Spectre, afk farming Lycan in the jungle and Bloodseeker that lost mid hard to the Troll. The two people that didn't feed in the end were me and our offlane Abaddon. My support play is far from good and I had really hard time shutting down that SB on lane but I'm not quite ready to take blame of that loss. | ||

Pretty much lost the game because of it. Pro tip: Don't assume your teammates are good, especially if they instalock nature's prophet and start with glove of haste + clarities. LESSON LEARNED, TIME TO GO BACK PLAYING TINKER AND WIN THE GAME WITHOUT CARING ABOUT YOUR TEAM. | ||
