Why do I always get the fucking retard mids who get their shit destroyed or stolen while trying to bottle crow? mb he was bad and ruined your agme....but agha refresher isd totally legit, son. so no i dont kill myself irl just because i build 2 items who allow me to put a lina lvl 3 ult with agha on evrybody on their team. the only thing i would add is a forcestaff or dagger. but most pubs you can own just with straight agha refresher and good positioning Aghs + refresher is only good if you're stomping hard, and then it doesn't even matter what items you build. If I was playing a close game and the enemy team had farmed carries, I would be pretty pissed too if we lost because our Zeus went aghs + refresher instead of items like hex, force staff, ghost scepter, shivas, etc. Many people don't understand that lategame zeus damage comes mostly from his passive and anything which allow you to survive longer to trigger it is good. However zeus is rally powerful in low level pubs and can go for whatever build he wants.

I seem to be heading for a win streak period on my personal account but of course you always get the odd lost game that just...defies logic. All Random. I roll Chen and I'm not the best with him so I ask if I should repick or if someone wants. Pugna says he'll swap. Ok, fine I'll play Pugna.
Nope. Pugna doesn't press play until way after creepspawn so now I'm stuck on Chen. Alright, whatever. Good practice.
I'll skip over the uninteresting part. Suffice to say my team fed heavily with Bounty Hunter yelling that Kunkka is bad, Kunkka yelling that BH is bad, Pugna yelling that Zeus is a noob and everyone yelling at Pugna early on for feeding badly in the first couple of minutes. Item progression...Kunkka went Vanguard and Bounty Hunter went Battlefury.
Ok, thats more or less a fast loss, right? Any normal build on their carries should beat that easily. Except the other team wasn't doing normal builds. Their main carries were Alchemist and Naga...who BOTH WENT VANGUARD VLADS.
Yes, I lost to a team where both their carries went Vanguard first into Vladimirs. X-(
Admittedly it was largely due to their QOP. I noticed I was slightly underlevelled (I was about 9 and most of the rest of my guys were 11-12). Ok, fine it happens. I lost a bit due to saving people by sending back to base so sort of expected. Need to catch up a bit. Then QOP comes in. One right click, one E and then ult on me and I instantly die from about two thirds health. I check her...she's level 17 and has aghs. The only reason we didn't lose immediately is because after taking a set of rax the other team decided to do "5 man split up" and start dying to our Kunkka.
But hey...we almost won for a while there.

wow a nyx assasin thaat used his vendetta as an escape mechanism only
also has no thorns. and when he got them does not use it ( i guess he thinks is was still passive)

Refresher will allow for much faster frontloading due to the extra ~2 passive procs you're getting. Blowing them away fast is a pretty viable lategame strat, especially if you're comboing with some team cc that can catch them without their bkbs.
The aghs isn't significantly contributing at that point but it has a nice midgame potential and buildup, hence why it's built first.
Still seems pretty fine in some situations.

Just did a tryout for a "going-professional" team where
1.The other support got a sobi mask as a starting item both games. First to "rush a basi" and second to "rush a medallion" 2nd time it caused him to go into a trilane v trilane with 0 regen.
2.Both games the mid lost. First was him puck v kunkka(I think kunkka is favored here), the second was sf vs him bat. How the fuck do you lose mid sf as bat? We even ganked him successfully twice so he should have no souls.
3. Mid bought a stout shield because "sf hits hard" Remember he's bat for this game.
4. Both games offlane fed first blood. In the 2nd game's case. He fed first, second and 3rd blood in 8 minutes.
5. I had to tell the other support player how to play visage. He never had his familiars in fights and went the wrong skill build.
6. Support makes a pipe for some godawful reason. We have a ds, you need a ghost scepter holy shit.
7. Constantly overextends for kills, Frequently I was the only one alive at the end of a 2 for 4 trade because I was the only one with the awareness to gtfo.
8. They thought aquila and basi aura stacked even if when I told them it doesn't.
These people actually thought they could go fucking pro. Holy shit what a waste of time.

My match making has gotten a lot worse lately. I'm still in high priority and I didn't lose that much, yet I got down to Normal again. And by god, matchmaking has matched me up with some incredible retards.
I miss the days that match making gave me good games :/
bonus QQ: fucking dumb pub players that think that the solution to the enemy 5manning is to 5man yourself, even if they have way better teamfighting. Thankfully I managed to split push them to death but we went from leading 12-2 (we raped early game, a common cause for enemy team 5manning) to something like 30-20. My teammates just suicided one by one trying to protect towers instead of just pushing the other lanes.

We smoke and our Lifestealer auto attacks the first creep he walks near. I ask him why he has auto attack turned on and he says, "It makes it easier to jungle". Needless to say, we did not find anyone to murder.

bonus bonus QQ: we have successfully managed to 5vs1 a Kunkka that's on a beyond godlike. We've dusted him, he's slowed, silenced and having the living shit beaten out of him. We're close to kill him, we're all auto attacking when...Pugna decides now's a good time to decrepify him.

This isn't really a thing.
There is normal priority. Which is the standard queue. There is low priority. Which is where you only play others in low priority. And there is 'technically' a high priority, which is when someone declines a queue so you get rotated back at the top of the pool, ensuring your wait time is less.

I call it rather high/very high bracket. You are not prioritized at all.

Two games from yesterday... Different kind of QQ. I usually don't feel bad when I lose because I feel that I made so many mistakes that I couldn't win the game...This just feel so sad because I was doing great and couldn't win the game because other team was way way way way way better than mine...........
Mag,weaver,AM,SK,Bane vs wisp,VS,PA,alc, WR, seems somewhat even pre-game. I'm on weaver, expecting to go offlane. For some reason AM is there so I go to safe lane with bane vs WR/VS. Early they manage to pull off a beautiful combo on me and I just melt. Shrug and back to lane, game face on. We eventually manage to win the lane after getting couple kills, after 6 we just dominate them. Mid game. AM/SK lane isn't doing great, AM finishes super late bf, sk going for mana boots, vanguard(???). Mag fails to get anything done, never gets blink(???). We find some kills with bane, teamfights I get kills, survive,I'm on a roll, but their team is clearly on the driver's seat, having map control, taking roshes, pressuring our towers..I feel they are just getting more and more a head and can't do shit even tho getting kills left and right. Late game, they continue getting roshes, pressure us, we are just hanging there. Before last engagement I'm 16-4, linkens, deso, money left for BB. AM just has manta and BF, SK is going for heart(???), never got blink. Mag never got blink. bane aghs manaboots. I'm 25, rest of team way behind, opponents 22-23. Fight starts, team melts, I die, BB, die, GG + Show Spoiler +
PL/WL/Enigma/SF/Bristle vs axe/kunkka/timber/lion/invoker,pretty even I'd say Laning safe lane with WL vs timber, pretty easy lane. For some reason enigma single pulls every time possible to push the lane to timber's tower, free xp and gold for him.... jungles till he got blink. Bristle offlane just feeds. I die couple times in early mid game engagements, doing fine still. Pretty standard PL game, split push, split push, more split push. They managed to gain advantage anyway picking off rest of team when they were solo farming..getting good team fights after that. they get every rosh. Timber and kunkka are huge, they mercilessly counter my split push , can't get map control. more roshes. Kunkka and timber are your momma fat.timber has million bloodstone charges. Eventually get 6 slotted. SF dies 15times in 60mins so he has zero end game items. Eventually they just roll over. Never thought could lose a game with dbl heart PL lol.

Yea just had to get this off my heart. gl hf

It actually blows my mind how people still don't know how to counter a farming Warlock in a pub. My friend (basically) only plays Warlock, in Very High and has about a 75% winrate with him. Yet, he didn't know that a diffusal blade will kill the Golem, he has literally never had someone build and use a diffusal blade against him in 100+ Very High Warlock games.

The priority brackets are not the same as the skill "ranking" brackets.
