someone dies (a friend I was stacking), "yo buy courier" "buy it yourself" 15 minutes and a feedathon later after no one but me carries dust vs their 3 invis heroes and I just abandoned my first game in a few months. Also unfriended the guy because he's a retard. | ||

This is REALLY frustrating and i don't know what to do to change it, am i supposed to carry noobs? what if i have to support and support a noob carry? Just getting the frustration of my system  Btw the list is 13 games long. So 2-11. | ||

Even got a lychan really mad since he was solo easy lane vs 2 range hero's, then when he sodded off to the jungle he found all 3 camps where blocked. ^.^ The thing that really mostly annoys me is the botched matchups, where the skill level of either my team or the opponents is not even close to the others. Those games where you just get steamrolled or steamroll in a 25-30m game. Just feels pointless. Like this game http://dotabuff.com/matches/282642982 We where a full 5-stack, they where probably as well. There was no contest. They just steamrolled us. They literally went from tower to tower, and won the game. We maybe won 1-2 teamfights but that was about it. Granted our line-up was missing some AOE stuns/dps. But simply their target selection, positioning and execution was much better. It wasn't even a bad game for me, I played fairly well for a losing game. But getting completely outclassed or completely outclassing someone else just feels pointless. | ||

I think the way matchmaking works, it doesn't always try to give you even games where you have a fair shot at winning each time. Sometimes the system wants you to lose, and keep you around 50% win rate. I'm sure there have been times where you have stacked as 5 and steamrolled another team. The losses usually stick out more in our heads. Also, think about how difficult it would be to find a good matchup of two stacks (each with their respective MMRs). Just because you group up with 4 other people you know, it doesn't mean that there is any chemistry or that your playstyles fit well together. Like you said, though, the weaker lineup could be a big part of it as well. I think as Dota 2 grows, the system will find better matchups because it has a more diverse pool of players to choose from. Theoretically, the more everyone plays, the closer you should be to your true MMR. | ||

I'm flat out not dealing with that kind of attitude. Just because I'm playing a support doesn't give you the right to be an arse to me. Hell a lot of the time I grab courier even when I'm not support because firstly I can't trust anyone else to do it and secondly Baby Roshan courier is awesome and cute. But if you're going to throw bad attitude from the first second then the game is clearly going to go badly. Next game I grab Windrunner. My team seems quite nice and friendly actually. Looking forward to a good game. Opponent ragequits because of what he was randomed (I think it was RD and he was afk). Onto the next one then... Next game Wisp. I do the usual stuff...courier, wards, etc. I'm with Riki top against Sand King and Dazzle. Weaver feeds first blood offlane and immediately ragequits. Riki goes bottom leaving me 1v2 as an underfarmed and underlevelled Wisp with an NP who occassionally pops his head out of the jungle. I'm in so much trouble so I spend my entire time trying to survive (proving really quite difficult given their level advantage and 2v1 lane) and absorb some levels and a little gold. Game goes badly fairly fast since its 4v5 and my teammates are doing precisely nothing (except Zeus, who keeps killstealing and buying back to ult people who killed him). People just start quitting as the other team barrels down mid. Everyone on the team has 3-4 deaths except Weaver (who ragequit) and me (I had 5 deaths thanks to trying to take the hits and distract for Riki). Zeus: "Omg thanks for feeding, Io." | ||
