Templar Assassin players who do nothing but try to be stealthy gankers even at 40 minutes into the game where they try to hunt down and pick off one guy, meanwhile we're all trying to teamfight because the enemy has started grouping up and roaming as five, and their DK is getting big now.

it's fucking bullshit and I'm glad whenever a spirit breaker gets fucked in the ass. Picked LD to do it, worked out decently but only because the SB player was shit.

I like it when they do that, because then they'll decide that they're the god of war for picking off a support AA and go in 1v5 for dem kills before learning that the reason you have brown boots and urn 30min into the game is because you were allowing your Void to 6slot in roughly the same timeframe.

This is the greatest description of SB I've ever heard. I lol'ed hard.
But really. As someone who plays supports exclusively, I feel your pain

I don't know, valve doesn't seem to understand timezones very well, since TI3 is between 9pm and 7am for europeans

well not making the actual players play in the middle of the night seems like a pretty good idea to me, and since they have to play somewhere in the world, wherever the far side of the world is is just going to have to live with it...

Middle of the night? They start at like noon. And you are giving a big, fat middle finger to the two biggest audiences: Asia and Europe.

The fact remains that one way or another, whenever they play, someone isn't going to be happy. You simply can't please the entire world. And as someone living in a vaguely Asian timezone it isn't all that bad here.

Well, like he mentioned, the games start when it's noon in seattle, which is unecessarily late. MLG typically starts at like 9am, meaning it starts at 6pm rather than 9pm for europeans, which is a HUGE improvement as far as time zone management goes.

I cry a little whenever a teammate builds a vanguard

especially against a team of mostly magic damage

also checked just now, Spirit Breaker is the #2 most popular pub hero atm, with 58% winrate.

Vanguard does have its uses, I guess your teammates are going for it blindly every game though.

Oh, I was adding up the TI3 streams, because I don't remember seeing 160k on one stream, dotatv maybe.

And what's your suggestion to improve this? Start at 7am local time with an audience thats half asleep?

The audience is global, it doesn't matter what time they start the event, someone will be asleep.

I have to stay up till 8 AM to watch all the TI3 matches for a day.

Ninjaedit: but yes, it makes sense to start at a good local time, both for the players and the local audience.

5 0 start with od mid against a laughable storm who had 0 last hits, 15 min bkb, fs. my team composed of a slardar and an earthshaker who started the game at least 11 years later then me but hey whatever volvo must know this is good noncompetetive mm lets have fun. they did not use their skills until they were the only two remaining, es got even a blink but never did use his spells... od is not that strong if sb tide and ld hitting you with your mates not doing anything, why on earth do you get into the top of the top mm if you are worse then a normal bot? (i imagine they use their spells from time to time)

Uhm yeah, that was my point. No matter how you schedule is, some part of the world will have it bad. I don't think the times are too bad for europe either, considering that a large percentage of the viewers are probably school or university students who don't mind staying up late. (and maybe skip a day or two )

pick enigma, claim jungle

person last picks NP, TPs to a cliff (at 0:29, effectively blocking the creeps). I say fuck it, go to the offlane (offlane enigma fuck yeah), up against a duo with AoE.

in hindsight I should've just stayed in the jungle would've made for a much better game

2nd game: enemy team picks Spirit Breaker, Nyx, Lifestealer

I am not hating about other countries or nationality's but I do not like when my team mates can't speak english and we have no communication. They could use the ping circle like I do.

its not fun to have a support that lets your melee carry alone against a range offlaner. he didnt even try to harass once
but sure its the carrys fault that he couldnt farm freely

Playing bane hard support our long lane is doing good and two of the opposing team ragequits and never comes back. As soon as you get the " this game is free to leave" message. Our long lane players instaleaves and never comes back. Ok i think its still 3v1. bane alch and qop vs BH. Then QOP leaves for no reason and without explanation and never comes back. So now its a farmed BH vs me and this horrible alch and we get steamrolled because he gets all the money in the world.

Can anyone explain to me why on EARTH my teammates left before we had won???

People don't understand what counts as a win and what doesn't, and unfortunately I've never seen a clear explanation of it from a trustworthy source either. Until then, best policy is to encourage your team to stay in the game in case you get a win out of it. I got a win the other day in a game our Jugg lost internet and abandoned by 5:50. At the end it was three of us vs a Tusk.
