That's like saying you won't be a good footballplayer, because you suck at basketball. Those games are kinda similar in terms of being played with a ball, but yet they different. Kinda like LoL and DotA. Don't give up and if you need any help, feel free to msg me.

Stacks have boosted MMR besides, maybe they wre just facing 5 random people when, they were stacking.

Lucky people I guess. Still, its like complaining about sleeping or all the time you waste eating food. You have to lose games, otherwise why would we even play?(and who would we play against?)

These players also vastly outplay us, a 20 minute loss is not normal, it's not just me complaining about the number. This happens both with a 5 man stack and with regular and with small stacks, we've had this quite a few times and I've finally had enough. Also although wins don't directly correspond to better skill it's a reasonable assumption that someone with 500 wins is better than me with 82.

Invoker starts talking over mic, saying he was sorry that he couldn't do anything in teamfights, because he had to farm because, "Invoker isn't good and can't fight or gank until he has Aghanims." My brain went blank, I didn't respond because I didn't know what to say to that. Then, there was a Puck on the other team who I guess told them that he was smurfing and plays in MLG. He was good, but not that amazing. Their Enigma asks if Puck is good. I didn't understand, said yes, Puck is a good hero, especially with their lineup. Invoker says, no, Puck is one of the worst heroes and he's hardly ever picked because he was terrible. No, he wasn't joking because I was so confused I wanted to check his reasoning. Over voice he told me, "He's a caster support with bad DPS. Bad in teamfights too and can't gank." At this point I just stopped caring.

All it takes is to lose all 3 lanes, which is not something highly unlikely. From my experience, matchmaking seems to be working just fine as people are roughly of same skill level/make similar mistakes. At least if you take a look at the entire player base.. The occasional big skews can come from people playing role or a hero skill requirement they're not used to, or flat out terrible picks. Some easymode heroes specifically come to mind heh.

Like seeing a SC2 player with 1000+ wins deservedly in Bronze/Silver. Or someone in Plat with 1000+ wins doing a one-base double Starport Cloak Banshee.

Not wanting to ruin the game by making him rage over it, I repicked ES and went support rather than fight him for mid. Rest of the teams picks are so-so, not terrible. Well, my safelane carry is autoattacking and pushing from level 1, I get no item despite my pulling and managing to get some assist gold later because I'm the sole hard support. Necrolyte does nothing but act confused all game. Invoker does okay, doesn't get any kills despite going max export, then quas, with one point wex in endgame. I wasn't frustrated all game, despite the fact that the enemy team was snowballing. Then my mind was blown. You deserve a pat on your shoulder, brother, that first paragraph sounds like a dejavu to me. Yup, i can not remember all these countless games where team just forced s*** into my mouth, i knew if i went mid/carry i could have played 10times better than them but no s*** can be done when you are in a game like that..... Just go carry/mid/hardlane. And you need to stop caring immediately after you saw him auto last hitting, push the tower for the tower gold and gtfo to help the other lanes, that way you are helping the weaker team mates and at the same time you are buying time for him to farm (pray to god he will get his items...), and if he get ganked it is fine as long as you guys are taking towers. Feels like dota2 is slowly becoming another game that i have played before.
