How the hell does muting promote shitty behavior? You can still report them for intentional ability abuse, the assumption being that they're not just muting people for intentional feeding / ability abuse (??)
Anyways, was playing a game, going well as our midvoker is doing well and myself and our BH bot are doing okay, and I don't see an obscene number on the scoreboard that represents our top's feeding efforts.
...but suddenly, the enemy riki leaves top lane, diffusal blade completed and a higher level than either of our toplaners, and proceeds to pick both our Bristle and Undying apart, as well as myself.
Spent literally the rest of the game buying and placing sentries, managed to get a force staff to get people away from riki, but still ended the game as a position 5 CM with more GPM than either of our top laners. Who also (probably fortunately) afk'd in our fountain about two minutes before they finally started taking our rax.
Game is hard.

Some pubs answers I got
I ask nyx to buy some wards. He does about 4 minutes later. he then says "I have to fucking place them too?????!11!?1?!?"
I tell Lina to ult someone during a gank or teamfight, she says "But there was no one low enough" Most pubby answer I've ever heard.
I tell sniper to go safe lane instead of mid, he stays in mid saying sniper is mid because "he can last hit". yeah, with your 39 base damage, you're def going to be outlasthitting that QoP.

magnus had a little spat with our NP, didnt join the whole game. he was like farming the opposite lane we are in, its like 4v5 the whole game. our sf is like 'pls magnus, come we need you'. magnus is like 'no, you have np right?'. What.The.Fuck.

this is another magnus story
mag and dk were chasing a np after a clash, mag was ahead and NP was using his tp skill, DK used breath fire to kill him which made magnus miss his shockwave kill. magnus was so angry he bought a dagon instead of a blink dagger. sad to say, he only used it to dagon what DK was killing in the next fight and we got team wiped while the other team lost only one (the dagon kill).

Me storm mid vs Necro. I kill him solo 1v1 at level 4. After that my lane gets camped by Spirit Breaker, Doom, Silencer and Necro. I die... a lot. Add all those nice things even a kill on our courier. Yes, they killed our courier with my boots+null talisman in it ( it was still walking ). They just put a ward between the t1 and t2 tower and camped there until I used the courier. My team did nothing to punish that ofc.
That would be ok considering that since 4 people are on the mid lane the other two lanes should be doing fine.
NO, they are not doing fine. We have a retarded nature's prophet who is jungling on the fucking cliff ( he was so bad... ), a wisp+sven combo who doens't know what relocate is and a last pick Kunkka who doesn't even have two points in X marks the spot at lvl 9.
All the advantage that I created by killing Necro 1v1 gone to shit because my teammates are literally mongoloids. And ofc they said that I was a feeder LOL.
BTW inb4 someone comes in saying that you get matched with people of the same skill. No you don't. It always takes 5+ minutes for me to find a game and those people are not of my skill level. Period.
edit: yeee, I get muted for saying " You either fucking help me, or try to farm some decent items".

welp speaking of self qq. I was just one of those guys that piss me (or anyone else prolly) off. 0 - 12 - 3 troll. Apparently I have 0 idea about how to play himm or had.. i hope. As in spam his op ulti every chance u get as opposed to forgetting it, or axes for that matter. It was horrible, think u have to put in an effort to play that poorly

i raged so hard last night..
i'm playing with a stack i met through some random guy who added me and they all have half as many games as me. whatever i'll just go mid and the other guy with similar games can play carry. fine no problem, game starts off fine we win like 5 straight fights beccause i'm magnus and he's imba. but we never kill the weaver, despite having 4 disables.
what's going on?
Supports NEVER EVER have sentries, waste their disables on the tidehunter (STOP HIM FROM ULTING!!!111!!) and our spec build a refresher orb...........
weaver carries the game with a deso and linkens (wtf?) because no one kills him despite him having 1k hp and being the only one who does damage
I need to watch more closely for tlih's.... i'm so sick of lazy garbage play. i'm not even very good, all i ask is that you think try to think for a second. and when i say for the 15th time drop a sentry and disable the weaver when we teamfight JUSt DO IT

I'm on a 10 games losing streak. Valve matches me with the most terrible of players in every game lately.... win mid hard other lanes fail miserably, play carry and supports cant even pull or buy a goddamn ward, play support and carry cant last hit to save his life.
Playing a game today and our carry leaves the game in the first 2 minutes crying cuz game was lagging, and i thought ok my losing streak continues but we win 4v5 and crushed them hard. MM makes no sense for real.

laning as hard support rubick with stealth assassin safe lane vs a suicide bounty hunter.
I courier, obs ward, sents to de-ward our pull, sents for lane to give SA 2 early game kills, up courier, smoke gank a kill for mid...
SA takes his 5k+ and buys a 18 minute butterfly, against a team almost entirely made up of nuker/burst damage.
We still won, but its frustrating gimping yourself for support to see someone make bad decisions like that.
on another note -- they need to change this muting system somehow. either by giving you the option to unmute them, or by dumping this auto-mute stuff and just giving people regular bans to keep them out of queue.

I don't even know how people get games in less than 5 minutes. Virtually every game I find takes 10-15 minutes to get, sometimes longer. Generally High/Very High matchmaking, guess its the modes I selected. *shrug*
QQ: People who randomly panic or get overconfident. When ahead then stay calm and close out the game.
I was on a losing streak but I've broken out of it the past couple of days and racked up a few nice wins in good games with people teleporting to defend or gank, rotating around nicely. Roaming gankers. Decent item builds, etc.
But there's always that one guy who freaks out about something. In the last three games I've had two at direct opposites to each other:
- Exhibit 1: I'm QOP mid against an Alchemist. Harrassing the hell out of him, getting good farm and grabbing all of the runes. Bottom is taking a lot of damage and calls for a gank so I wander on down there and kill CK just like that. Warlock trying to steal a rune? Nope, blink in and grab it then burst him for some damage. Our Riki wanders midlane and pings on Alchemist. Ok, cool. I bait Alc in a bit then Smoke>Binkstrike>Blink>Dagger>Scream and he dies. And so on and so forth, we're basically controlling the game.
A couple of minutes after that one of the guys on our side: "OMG WHAT WERE YOU DOING MID ALC IS SO FARMED!" This is an alchemist with phase boots and a couple of tiny items (couple branches and something, can't really remember) at about the fifteen minute mark. He'd been using his acid spray to farm with quite a bit and obviously greed will help his farm but he was pretty far behind...seriously...how hard do you want him to be shut down exactly for him to be underfarmed?
- Exhibit 2: We've been wrecking the other team. Totally wrecking them. Taken all of their outer towers and periodically pressuring onto their high ground. We decide to Rosh. Necro disconnects.
Ok, fine, whatever. We pause (DK on the other team kept unpausing even though we'd paused for 5 mins earlier for one of theirs...) and wait a while. After 5 minutes we and the other team agree to go. With the 5 minute time extra before abandon he'll have had 10 minutes, plenty long enough to be reasonable.
We do ok. Its quite messy but we just micro Necro. At this point he's massively stacked at about level 22 with an 18 charge bloodstone and a mek and a few other big items so Lich suggests that he primarily focusses on playing Necro and I suggest just having his Lich follow the Necro so he can still ult in fights. Great plan.
Five minutes later we take a teamfight. Venomancer decides we can fight them 4v5 no problem at this point and SELLS ALL OF NECROS ITEMS.
WHY WOULD YOU EVER DO THAT? HE WAS BASICALLY SIX-SLOTTED! WE WERE LITERALLY A FEW MINUTES FROM WINNING!
Ten seconds later Necro reconnects.
The game dragged out horribly for at least another 25 minutes. We eventually won but it was way closer than it should have been and if their Jakiro hadn't quit we might have lost. Was just so close to being a total throw.

Muting destroys the game, the last ... 20? games I played (vh EU) an average of 3 people in the entire game dared to talk, rest was muted or too scared to get muted.
But I guess saying "wards plz <3" and "Gl&Hf" at game start is too much for some people to handle. Or they are just mad, if I rage at someone who plays better than me I report him for communication too, just for the fun of it and the senseless system

I was playing rubik for my first time last night, laning with a luna. This guy keeps auto attacking creeps instead of last hitting, pushing the lane all the way to the tower. I keep shooting the opponents, keeping them at half health, and denying creeps like a good support. I'm kinda sick of being in the lane with him, and decide to go bot and kill someone. So I go bot, help someone get a kill successfully, ezpz. Luna, of course, dies while I'm away. He proceeds to flame me for the next 10 minutes saying how terrible I am that I'm not helping support the team, while we just get destroyed. Then, he reports me and says I'm feeding because I die a couple times to pudge (hooked for fog and ulted).
Somehow we turned that game around, and half way through he was saying things like "You're not sucking so much now." like that is really a nice thing to say. Why are people such assholes when they play this game?

Sounds familiar. Had roughly 25 wins in 30 games when it started matching me with (most recent example) a drow that decided to "I ancients" -> treads after 15 minutes ;-) And this is EU vh bracket... ^.^

Dont die u dying makes their shit worthwhile u shud just go jungle as storm and stack he small camp if theyre all mid ur other lanes got space so go get farm some other way instead of dying and blaming ur team and saying " fuck tp noob no farm gg"
just keep in mind u dying enables them and makes their shit worthwhile
