My team was ahead the entire game... I went 5-0 in the midlane, but then the PA proceeds to crit on EVERY HIT throughout the whole game and wipe our entire team. It feels like I lost to pure luck... I know it's not, but still, I was shocked the amount of crits PA hit that game.

Its actually less random than you think. Crit chances are pseudo random, meaning you can't crit too many times in a row, and you can't not crit too many times in a row (I think after 11 hits on the same target without previous crit you will have a 100% crit chance if I remember correctly). This is also the same for stuff like entangle, vanguard block, greater bash, etc.
Still doesn't make it any less frustrating when that PA crits you on first strike every time you see her.

Why is there a pick countdown timer if you don't have to pick in that time?
Got matched against a 5-stack. My team starts picking heroes and what-not, 5-stack waits until we've all picked, then after the timer is zero proceeds to choose the most pub-stomp anti-fun lineup I've ever seen: Riki, Spirit, Sven, Zeus, Huskar. And of course we're already in game and can't counterpick or anything. Dumb. People really want to win.

This is always odd to me, because on one hand, this is how the game should be played and playing vs extra try hards should be better practice and higher quality game (if you also have a good team, but getting equal tryhard vs tryhard is rare). So logically there's nothing to be upset about.
On the other hand it can still piss me off sometimes. I still usually defend the "tryhards" cause we they really shouldn't be blamed for trying to win.. but sometimes, esp when taking to extremes, it does make me cringe or it's really hard not to join the "fu try hards" crowd... Waiting as 5 man to not pick in AP after the countdown is on another level though

Nah, that game sounds snowbally and shit one way or the other. Either the tryhard team doesn't get kills and can't get the farm they need to make that lineup relevant, or they do and are allowed more and more ridiculous diving/killing/ganking.
(Storm spirit / vengeful spirit / Spirit breaker, though? I'm imagining spirit breaker.)

except, we've all had this kotl game, kotl goes top and gives up first blood to spectre not even 15 seconds in. tps back and starts nuking the lane to make sure spectre can freely last hit under the tower
goes BoT first, spends the entire game tp'ing around and nuking waves, even when sven is *right there* and telling him not to. while keeping all the lanes pushed, he doesn't even buy wards until our jungle is just patently unsafe. I won't go on, but I reported him - my first report in nearly a month

The amount of muted rage griefers has gotten to an all time high.
Completely won game, dominating the enemy, halfway to ending the game, OD decides to say fuck everyone, begins forcing allies into enemies, astralling allies so enemy can jump them, stealing items off courier, hiding items in trees, and generally avoiding every single confrontation.
Of course we end up losing, essentially playing 4v6.
Why do people act like this? Muting only promotes this kind of shitty behavior, players like this should simply be banned for life.
