Later on they can be a problem. Most pub pudges don't actually gank, preferring to spend the first 15 minutes fishing for the opposing mid. As a result, they're big fat paperweights past mid game. The thing that does bother me is how difficult it is to get a legitimate mid with so many Pudge/drow/sniper pickers around. | ||

 I'd still take SF with random gold mid. He can still snowball with a straightforward pew-pew right click rather than a tricky skillshot, and it's pretty rare to see players gank mid in pubs. | ||
