It is based on winrate, and if their picking habits or shitty builds make them lose more games they will end up having a lower MMR than they would have if they didn't. If they started only making good decisions, his MMR would be much higher, the system has no idea if his team loses because of skill or bad decision-making. In the end everyone is eventually placed where their contribution to the team means they have around 50% winrate, unless you are in one of the extreme ends of the ladder. The issue is that the player has to do that most of the time for it to work. It just introduces a big random factor to his play, and there is absolutely no way to predict that. You can't just put the guy in the bracket where his shitty builds are balanced but he is much better than everyone else when he plays well. | ||

timber auto attacks creeps and tries to contest for last hits. great. at least he' awful at it. we also had a 5th pick luna after having a slardar and spectre. he builds an aghs. and always ults creeps. and flames me for my 30 min radiance despite my ass lane.... i'm not sure whether i should not have gone radiance or not. We ended up winning because i eventually was able to farm up with the radi, but i really don't know what you're sposed to do as spectre when your lanes are all pushed because you jungle SO slowly without some kind of farming item. i really can't believe we won that game | ||

If there's one thing I hate even more than that it's losing to retards who were my teammates the game before that, and played like utter trash. Played with such a guy, he was utterly worthless as a carry on my team. Next game we get raped, he's their only support as Venomancer, he gets a minute 12 shadow blade. By far my most ragequit-ish abandon yet. | ||

proceed to feed mid as Silencer, get reported by 3stack even though we won and I had clutch ulties (I helped! somewhat...) It's true I fed mid but I wasn't the only one sucking >_> and hell, I didn't really feed mid. I died like 10 seconds in because I opened with my lose-connection -> stunned into hasted lion -> die after Invoker dives me build. I died again afterwards killing Invoker at the same time, and afterwards when I said 'ss mid' noone cared and they died. Possibly because not a single ward was baught during the entire game. sad, sad game. Well, I guess a break from Dota is due until I'm out of LPQ. what really frustrates me moreso than the reports is the fact that I was forced to play a 40 minutes game as a liablity. Yeah I could've abandoned but I wanted to help whatever way I could - and I even managed to get some kills! Silencer hits like a goddamn TRUCK. so yeah...fuck playing gimped. | ||

Playing with friend, couple of days ago, single draft got some heroes i never played, but my friend (he is quite awesome player by the way) got Sven so i think great and picked Wisp. Everything goes great - we got safelane I hit 6 and enemy5 manned our hardlane tower with our mid there. So me, happy as hell, thinking: Ha power of Wisp - Tether, Relocate on minimap (never, ever Relocate on minmap)... about split of a second after enemy Enigma casted Blackhole, at the very same point we Relocated. It was quite awesome actually, I doubt we would be able to time it so well even if we were planing it with him on TS. | ||

here are the more interesting facts though - our supports flamed the shit outta Pudge. furthermore they commended Naix for playing good?! this is the type of clueless idiots the MM is pairing me with. I WONDER HOW NAIX GOT SO FED MID?! WTF PUDGE gee I wonder how Pudge got raped mid too, how is this possible? Pudge mid is so stronk and scawy! fucking morons..... the fact that they were surprised how Naix won the mid convincingly shows just how little game knowledge those people have.....why the hell am I being put in the same team as them again? | ||

I dominated Elder mid, going 4-0, then ganking the other lanes for a 'Godlike' kill streak. If a game like this happened just once, I could understand. But it happens almost on a regular basis. This coupled with a mute system that has muted me non-stop for about a month now. I just feel so diminished and angry playing a good game that could be so much better with such little improvements. | ||
