I pick prophet team takes pudge, sniper, invoker, OD. as expected other team is leading 30-5 or some shit 20 minutes in. but if I teleport to the enemy base and start courier bombing OMG PLEASE REPORT THIS ANTIGAMER GAME RUINER WHY U RUIN GAME WE HAD CHANCE OMG REPORT PLX1111! jesus christ this community is absolutely downtrodden with mentally challenged sheep | ||

They think Crystal Maiden is just as liable as Ursa lategame and instead of supporting (which requires knowledge of the game) they contest for last hits, don't buy courier/wards, and go for Shadow Blade/BKB/Agahim Scepter CM. Then they get stomped and go "fuck this game it's bullshit". Sad game. | ||

I'm in a solo queue game. My draft is Zeus, Venge, Beastmaster. I flat out will not play Beastmaster since I'm horrible with him so its Venge or Zeus. In the end I pick Venge because another guy has Shadow Fiend and we need the carry and he needs mid badly. After we get a quick first blood (Brewmaster stun plus Venge plus SF) I notice Warlock has taken mid and SF is forced to stay safelane with me. I'm thinking "what the hell? Why is he taking mid over Shadow Fiend?" So I check his profile...and then I check the profiles of the rest of my team and the other team. Thats when I realise two things: 1. That this is one of those "one experienced player plus four relative new guys" games. I have about 700 games, my allies had around 100 games maximum. The other team had one guy with a thousand games and the rest similar to my allies. 2. I'm on Vengeful Spirit. The guy with a thousand games on the other team is on Phantom Lancer. We won anyway because I managed to get my team listening to my instructions and we had a better teamfight composition and managed to beat PL in the base race. But my god it was bad for my heart. | ||

I tried Solo queue for the first time last night, I'm on about 26 wins, I got put in a game with people who had over 100 wins...Something really needs to be done with this matchmaking. | ||

Second game, All Random, our team is Bane (me, solo supporting), Pudge, Tiny, Shadow Fiend, Tusk. Pudge and Tiny are together apparently, and pudge is one of the worst players I've ever seen. We send SF mid because pudge cops to being terrible before the game even starts. Confidence inspiring! I go safelane to support tiny and first blood their offlane lycan (???) at level 1. We get an enormous lead, tiny gets a quick scepter, SF gets huge. Pudge feeds like mad the entire game, but their luna is going the clowniest build possible (aghs/eblade) and their ck isnt too big, so I figure we'll be fine. That's when Tiny starts saying "fuck that" to every reasonable item suggestion we give. He doesn't want an AC, crit, bkb, none of that shit. Tiny doesn't want to fight, tiny only wants to splitpush. He goes manta into BoTs (double boots new meta) and refuses to fight with the team for the rest of the game, resulting in him being stupidly caught by himself over and over, after which he randomly buys back half the time for no reason. Pudge continues to feed, and SF is paper just by nature of the hero, so without tiny fighting with our team, their CK goes crazy in teamfights, and we start to lose. They're pushing our base, but we're all 5 up, and if we just defend as 5 we can take the fight and counterpush to win. But nope, whilst we're 1.5 sets of rax down already, tiny is BoT'ing to the other side of the map to solo baserace against their entire team pushing us. The 4 defenders die again, our throne goes down. What a rewarding way to spend 47:55 of my life, solo supporting and babysitting this fucking clown tiny in lane just so he and his dumbfuck pudge friend can throw an incredibly easily won game. God fucking damn supporting in solo queue is like punching yourself in the balls. | ||

This isn't Team Fucking Deathmatch, when you die (and Sven died a LOT) it always cost us something - rosh, rax, towers, whatever. And it was always after I pleaded him to BACK UP. My team would consistently start hitting their tower/rax with fervor, despite my protesting that Mag has a Blink and we ltierally died to Mag's RP like...7 fucking times. Not joking, he wiped us out -alot-. so we somehow staged a comeback after losing 2 sets of rax, we wiped them out, Sven and co are at their base, the creep is coming so there's no backdoor protection, and....they ignore my call to go straight for the throne and instead take out raxes. When all of the other team were down for 40 seconds without buyback. They stayed long enough for Mag/Warlock w/refreshers to respawn, gg. I know, I know, we're all just casual players so I shouldn't expect them to play amazing - hell I did a few embarassing mistakes myself - but goddddddddddddamn I hate it when people just keep repeating the same dumb mistake without learning from it. Usually you only get burnt once before you learn not to touch boiling stuff. | ||
