So I say 'fuck self respect' and pick kotl. Then we proceed to have sniper, cent and tinker. Holy shit is that a turtling team, right? Yeah, except PL went by himself on the enemy base twice instead of staying with the team. First time we could even handle them. 76mins later, we lose with a 37-86 score. Worst part? After focusing 100% on wards, sentries, gems and mekansm as well as saving for buyback etc etc etc the noob guy on the team is me, kotl, because I have no items. Yay. | ||

Third game in a row where my team was given a completely stupid team, relative to a reasonable balanced team for opponents. Played a game where we had an all intel team with no pushing power, and repicks got us nowhere, and THEN I played another game where we randomed 4 carries and a tinker. I had TA, and tink wanted mid, so I repicked into.....medusa. I am not playing that format anymore. | ||

played 4v5 as it honestly doesnt matter much as the lowish skillevel I'm playing. But no, within 3 minutes the next 2 people disconnect never to be seen again. If you don't wanna play, why do you even start the game you utter fucking retards? What is it about DOTA that attracts the dumbest of the dumb? | ||

Its actually not as strong as you might think. 3 (and sortof kotl too) of those heroes have huge ultimates which requires to hit several if not most of the enemy team to be strong. If the enemy team stays spread at all times, you're going to have 3 heroes with useless abilities. On the flip side, if you hit your "ulti combo" on the whole enemy team, its going to wipe. Its a very fragile balance that would not work in a progame. On the other hand, in pubs where people run around like headless chicken.. | ||

Yes it is, but most people don't get what the mode is all about. Also it is alot harder to play ar, because u can get any hero and any comp (for example u might be really good at landing a disruption + LSA combo, but it is impossible to land a weird combo out). I think most of the people who play AR are the people who played dota during the wc3 days, normally u have tried every hero and just want some random spice to make ur matches more interesting. Right now i only queue for AR, LP and RD | ||

I guess I just can't take the games home. Jesus fuck, I am actually starting to hate playing this game. I used to play pub games where people would choose good team compositions, where reasonably effective tri-lanes were common (I LOVE tri-lanes, but someone always just jungle naixs or dooms or some stupid shit when I pick a support for it, I've stopped even trying....), and where games were actually fun random solo queing. Now I consider myself lucky if my laning partner is even remotely synergetic. I gotta say, I am having a lot less fun playing this game. Plus getting matched up against 5 mans a third of the time is fucking brutal and annoying. | ||

But as you can see, I've been on a losing streak lately, and fuck it's makes it more frustrating getting handed three shit teams in a row against a team that has two supports. I'm just done with the mode for a bit. | ||
