rofl. I have seen something like that, honestly dont see why people do that. If one had some huge real life issue he shouldnt play a team game at all. Like, if he is not talking etc then at least we may assume that they dont understand or something but purposely screwing with his team mates is just beyond me.

When you think that you saw everything in Dota, then comes the moment when you see solo offlane wr getting triple kill (first blood also) on your trilane. Suddenly next game which can be summarized with "ups guys i missclicked my BKB 3 times before fights Void" dosn't even seem hillarious.

Games I win: 2 - 0 for my team, everyone on enemy team leaves.
Games I lose: 0 - 20 at 10 minute mark. Opponents then continue to farm and insult everyone for 50 minutes till everyone has their perfect item setup.
So fucking stupid.
edit: streak of 3 60 minute games that were over after the first 5 minutes now.

so yeah, my worst night of Dota yet.
Game 1 - I go mid as support WR, all the carries go to the sidelanes. Should've guessed it was going to be a bad game. AM had free farm and he ended with treads, vanguard and three wraith bands. Invoker had the farm but how do I cast more than one spell, and Void got a minute 14 midas. http://dotabuff.com/matches/137610512
Game 2 - http://dotabuff.com/matches/137640914 opened as Kunkka with a terrible, TERRIBLE early game. Got raped with CK by a solo dark seer. Kept a level head though, turned into a support kunkka and managed to salvage the game somehow.
Game 3 - pretty much my worst game in Dota so far. Not because of the team, they were actually pretty good, just...I played like utter shit. Set my record for deaths, I think. Doesn't help that mid also fed. So by the time nighttime came and I went to gank Invoker as Night Stalker, he had a 6 level advantage over me. lol
Game 4 - I decided I wanted to win a fucking game, so I picked PL. Yes, I know, I should be ashamed etc. Well, don't worry because Nyx called safe-lane solo and proceeded to die and do nothing. What proceeded was 30 minutes of Pudge and Nyx calling everyone retards over and over and over again. Also I managed to queue up against not only a really well co-ordinated team,but also a support that warded and carried dust. The fuck.
so yeah. fuck this game and how addicting it is.
edit: I seriously don't get people who choose PL/AM/whatever extremely hard carry and go for Vanguard as the first build.

Lol thats amazing. Played a game once with a few of my irl tryhard friend's online, equally tryhard friends. Trilane top, me on Rubick, friend on Void, one of the random tryhards we were queued with on Treant. Up against a Venge Cent lane. Treant catches Venge out in the secret shop, follows her into the one hero wide space on the south side (top lane, we're dire) and precedes to beat her to death with his absurd damage fists of murder for the first blood. Centaur follows the Treant in, and Void follows Centaur. Now three heroes are all trapped in the little tree path, where Cent double edges the Treant and hits Void as well, preceding to finish the Treant off with a few autos (Treant took some damage from a Venge stun and some right-clicks while he was murderizing the Venge). Void realizes its time to gtfo, and starts to run away, me coming in, of course with the hero lift to save my carry.
But at the last minute I decide, that the best place to drop the Cent would not be harmlessly into the trees, but in fact right in between me and Void, allowing him to get a two man stomp and double edge, and turning a first blood 1-1 trade into a triple kill for the Cent.
Yeah. They were mad.
Anyways, for my own qq.
AR game, Kotl, Shadow Shaman, Silencer, Timbersaw and Alch (me). Two supports, two farmers and a mid, looking like a pretty good game to me. I ask the Kotl or the SS to come with me, and the SS says that him and the Kotl are partied and that they want to lane together cause "he can give me mana and shit." Rage building. I go bot with Silencer (radiant), who procedes to do that thing where people attack creeps too early and make it so no-one can get the last hit, all while maxing orb. Rage building even more. Then Kotl and SS feed first blood to a PL Tide lane. And continue feeding over and over again until the game is 22-8. Yeah that was it. I'm not often a rager but that shit put me over the edge.
Ending the game by team suiciding so that they would end faster, ended up 1-8. Highest farm on the team (25 off highest in the game) and highest level but the 6-17 SS had the best ratio so obviously the loss had nothing to do with him. Was pretty aggravating.

I don't know how dota 2 matchmaking works, but it seems to me that if we're joining with 3 people against an enemy team, who are slighty below us, we get 2 randoms, which are WAAAY under us skillwise to compensate. Problem is 2 people can fuck up your whole game

Because you need a hero the enemy can safely ignore while dealing with the other people who do stuff.

This soooo much. So many times i see "pick a tank". WTF is this? This aren't an MMORPG, you dont need a tank for anything!

I ask because in CM my team had Luna, Shadow Shaman, Weaver, Nyx and Rubick. It's not great, and a pub but we had a great early game.
Then my team proceeds to have the worst positioning and takes the worst fights ever, causing a lot of them to die. A lot. And then in the midgame where I can make the most difference they get a gem and feed it to the enemy meaning that I no longer can roam effectively because Tiny on the other team got it and my combo is slower than his. Despite me going like 3/1 against Shadow Fiend mid and shutting him down repeatedly during the game (got like 5 kills on him... blink nyx is so fun).
Yet they were whining during the bad fights about needing a tank, and I (incredulously) responded "How would a tank help your awful positioning and poor choices during teamfights?"
A fair question, and the thought that has prompted this.

^^ I've thought about this too, I think for them what tank really means is, initiator, in a way someone who can run in first and take the abuse, while squishies like drow can stand back and do the damage. This is because ,as you mentioned, positioning,initiation etc arent too common in mm games, all you do is run in and fight.

I think in usual pubs usually ppl just A move into the mess and hope to kill something so something like a CW will wreck with return and insane HP.
QQ: a fucking void kept hunting me in my THD game.. I went in with team and bam.. chrono on 3... he walk straight to me and beat me down. This happened twice and i was fucking mad..
The third time I positioned myself at the back.. he missed chrono on me.. AND STILL HE WALKED TOWARDS ME. WTF??? Then when he saw me scurrying back, he aimed another person so I proceeded to icepath him... ahhh.. that team fight was an easy wipe compared to the two before.. so nice to not die when fuckin void wants to chrono and aim you down..

Decide to play some dota to relax (first problem)
Join 3 games whereby 2+ teammates
1. Decided to choose English language setting and speak other language making it impossible to communicate, instead as an example they would type in Spanish and use CAPS as if that would make it easier to read. Could barely understand 99% of what they were saying and hard to play a team based game when its impossible to communicate.
2. Proceeded to flame and ignore any sense of teamwork (no ss/mia, support one game yelled because he didnt want to get courier)
3. Incorrect builds for example one game of stacking shields (poorman, vanguard) :\
4. Roamed in forest deciding who to gank top or middle while all 5 of there team free farmed
Sometimes idk about dota 2 MM, seems like sometimes it wants me to do a 5 win streak then lose the next 5.
ALSO
The support one game refused to buy courier, I was carry SB. I bought the courier at 52mins in after no support would. (Pudge, OD) The rest were harder carries with better farm yet somehow we still won.....
ALSO
Had a game whereby someone called my friend a noob for being QoP and buying bottle for middle lane. This was in all random so you get 800+ gold. Then proceed to run into the towers and spent all money on branches.

Some people take it personally when you kill them and/or screw up their game plan and will do anything to try and make the game miserable for you. Maybe he remember you from a game before and wants his revenge or some bs like that lol

A friend on I argued about this once. He decided to post a 4chan thread about it, because they're of course the experts on such a matter. Of course, the next game we played together, he and two randoms cried for a tank from the last random, instead of a solo offlane like we needed. Apparently tank is a role and offlane isn't.
OT: Does it seem to anyone else that, on the rare occasions you get to pick a carry, the support that claims to be babysitting you needs you to help them more than the other way around? I can't count the amount of times I've had to stop farming because VS or Veno decided to level 2 tower dive and need my slow/stun/bodyblock/moral support to keep them from feeding first blood.

Honestly, there's nothing so frustrating as this game's lack of a gg mechanism.
Pretty much every rage moment I've ever had would be manageable if it wasn't followed by 50 minutes of the other team basecamping into jungle-farming-while-basecamping into fountain-camping.

i got bitched by a quelling blade/basi hard lane dirge for farming too much as a jugger
the WR in that same game made lothars and dagon and also bitched
they both got demolished by pudge, you can guess why
oh, and zeus was constantly kill ''stealing'' so i got bitched for my k/d ratio as well
