Why do people abandon the game in minute 1 anyway? Don't tell me that every 1 out of 10 people get their pc blown or a fire alarm that they have to evacuate and leave the game immediately after it loads. As far as I'm aware how the abandon system works: - If somebody abandons before five minutes have passed AND if there are no deaths then the game is safe and stats are not recorded. So it just doesn't count at all. - If somebody abandons after five minutes then the game becomes safe to leave but stats are recorded. So the game counts. You can freely leave it without abandon penalty, but the game counts for your stats. - If somebody abandons after there has been a death then the game becomes safe to leave but stats are recorded. As above. The match is only not recorded if it specifically states "stats will not be recorded". Otherwise the game is counted on your match list and counts towards your wins and losses (depending on whether your team won or, more likely, lost). Last night: Random draft. Me and another guy get the extremely dirty KotL/PL combo. He doesn't spam as many lances out as I'd like but we manage to mess up Spirit Breaker and Doom reasonably with it. So strong. The guy in mid and one of the guys in the suicide lane feed like crazy. We lose. 
Thank you for the nice explanation. We have disced before 5 minutes mark, but the problem is that i already had 1-0 when i disced, so that is probably why the game recorded to match list.

Guy picks Meepo vs a team with Pudge, PA and Tidehunter. Obviously that's not going to end well. He says he can't play Meepo. Laning with him as Warlock confirmed that as the truth. No lasthitting capability whatsoever.
His reasoning: he felt like playing Meepo, fuck winning, fuck the team. I don't get it, how can you be such an egoistic asshole and think that attitude is fine?

Gonna be honest, you're probably saying/doing something that's causing you to get reported so much. I've had an entire team report me (or at least they said they did) for being a "noob void," and nothing happened.
Then again, I only solo queue a small fraction of the time, so there's that.

solo queue in a nutshell imo. majority of player probably has this mentality leading to us QQing of their fail

honestly? if someone wants to play a certain hero/build, let him. In the end, Dota is a game that we play for fun, and if he feels like playing a certain hero then there's no real problem. I'm sure he wasn't trying to feed outright.
personally I don't play Meepo because I don't want to lose too badly (and playing Visage has shown me that I suck at using multiple units), but the fear of "I can't play that Hero, I've never played him before - what if we lose because of me?" prevented me from playing Invoker for months until I finally manned up and did it. (and good thing I did too, Invoker is loads of fun)

Could I get one game of any hero at all where I don't get counterpicked by trynerds and pubtrained on? Please? Or at least a team that doesn't lose a duallane to an offlane slardar when I'm decisively stomping mid even with veno and chen camping me? Is this game even playable in soloqueue anymore?

Honestly? If you're gonna play a team game the least you could do is not sabotage the team.
Edit to the bonus QQ edit above: Hey, that looks like my recent games list. And no, solo queue has gone to shit recently, I had 60 more wins than losses 2 weeks ago or something and I'm below 40 now I think.

So I just get Furion game where I went 0/4 constantly being ganked by Leshrac and Bane in woods when we had no wards up. Had spectre / CM in bot lane where CM went QB and OoV and phase boots and feeded bot lane like 0/5 in 6 minutes. Then I went super farm mode, did 450cs in 45minutes, farmed Deadalus/Rapier/Aghas/ShadowBlade/PTs and 2 shooted their whole team and won the game with 16/7 score.

Just had a guy in my team play weaver who thought it was a good idea to buy 2 rapiers when we were up 9 towers and massively ahead. Then he proceeds to fountain dive and lose both the rapiers to a decently farmed AM...... Then we lost the game despite being up 2 racks because they could just walk down our mid lane =/. Fuck i hate some people some times

I should link my recent match results, but it isn't safe for a QQ thread (if one person loses all of his most recent matches, then it must be that there exists people that win all of them, I'm on a 15 game win streak, it's crazy). I've just been getting mostly great teammates who communicate and make smart picks and don't feed.
My QQ: I hate when people think that supports are just bad players, and carries are good players, hence why they dominate in the lategame and supports don't do much. I was nature's prophet, we had a weaver who decided to go to the dire shop with to buy his sacred relic and gets caught out by a drow. I see this happening, I check his mana and he doesn't have any for his invis spell. So I TP to root the drow, but I don't have much HP (all of my money on wards/courier/mek), so I die quickly to drow but weaver gets his sacred relic and then runs away. What do I get for my sacrifice? "Why the #@!$ did you just feed drow? I have invis. Noob prophet." But then again, how dare I expect our carry to admit he made a mistake and I saved him big time. At the end of the day though, that support nature prophet has been winning me so many games in a row. Although, everyone's stories make me believe that there will never be a point where I don't get a-hole teammates.

To those of you that continually QQ about "shitty teammates," just use match history to invite people you like from your matches to your next matches, and add them to your friend list if you still like them after. Stacking with a few people severely lowers your likeliness to QQ. That is, unless you're one of the cunts that flames everyone because you think you're the best.

JESUS CHRIST I just got raped SO HARD by KotL. This wasn't even a KotL/PL combo, this was just pure KotL bombarding me to fuck with constant horses, and since I was in suicide lane I had nowhere to fucking go, it was such bullshit - I ended up at 13 minutes or so with boots, 3 ggbranches and a fucking tp scroll
thankfully their suicide lane fed harder so our mirana managed to snowball out of control but holy fuck I never want to play that again
