Yeah but that's just the point, if there are so many different possible combinations of heroes, why are we seeing the same pool of 30 heroes used plus the occasional oddball?
I still think it's about metagame... and this kinda brings me around full circle, that the current metagame isn't really that interesting. I mean I'm just not getting entertainment watching KOTL wiping down creep waves 
Someone else mentioned that these picks/bans that we see now are really different to what we watched in TI2; but again that reinforces the same point, that the picks are -more- about the metagame and -less- about the other factors.
I want to know why!

Cancer lancer pickers can go fuck themselves. I think his buffs need to be reconsidered because with just 2 mid-big items he's just so stupidly obnoxious and if you give him a decent support (like.. surprise! kotl) his laning isn't even bad either and can get kills easily.

everyone in the game has 150+ wins at least 1700 dbr cept our alchemist with like 20 games played, who goes safe lane and ends up 0-11
not blaming the guy himself but why does valve do this?

Another game where we go up against people MUCH better than us then proceed to get stomped and just receive general bm about easy etc. So what, you won a game clearly stacked in your favour but people have some inferiority complex that they have to still bm about it

Being serious though, I think they are doing a shit job with MM, the player pool is increasing and the MM, at least to me, is getting worse.

Been playing captains mode in order to try and get some higher quality games.
Played a game where the other team got a tide and a pl, our captain picked a void, medusa, enigma, naga and rubick.
We lost at the 20 minute mark.
TIL there aren't less noobs in CM.

Playing CM with any less than 4 other people that you know is one of the most unenjoyable things you could possibly do in this game

OK, I've met the biggest asshole yet in the last game.
Guy's name is Random Mid, so obviously he demands mid and randoms. Bloodseeker. He's up against Pudge. Pudge kills him. He loses his shit, flaming Pudge for picking a shit hero, being a noob and other things. Then he goes into the jungle. "I just won the game for you, shush", he says, and proceeds to spout other nonsensical bullshit.

Bane on my team just nightmaring his team mates, I died twice cuz he nightmared me and left me for enemies, and then he just ruined our carries farm by constantly nightmaring him.

Get brood, solo offlane vs void and shaker. Win lane hard, first death at 15 mins as I kill the t2 tower, at 20 mins void only has morbid mask and boots. Get called bad when we lose the game as my team does such classics as "troll warlord walks in 1v5 into rosh pit because 'we need more teamfight' and our supports both dive behind a t3 by themselves to chase when a t2 is still up.

3-stacking with friends, we get in an AP match and we all random

they go 3-9 offlane against a solo panda.

game goes on, we're still struggling but we're not completely losing and the game is competitive.

SF lands some clutch shadowblade ultis and we turn around a couple teamfights.
"we can't win this, AM is AFK farming and CM is a horrible pick"
i pick up manta on AM and as soon as that happens the game turns around as we win another decisive teamfight that leads to double raxing.
"gyrocopter has purchased a rapier!"
his only other items are an aquila and phase boots.
gyro gets caught by panda and drow, drops divine, enemy drow picks it up.
"allchat: gg this SF doesn't know how to help his teammates"
we push, take down ancient towers, but we lose teamfight 4-2. i'm still up and i just circle around back to top lane and backdoor as everyone else pushes mid, so we won.
i fucking hate this hopeless trash that bitches all game from the start of hero pick and is super negative and doesn't contribute anything useful

That ult is the most broken thing in the game at the moment. It's just plain stupid. "Hurr durr Tiny/Lifestealer/Viper/Drow/Sniper/ANY FUCKING RIGHT CLICK HERO IN THE GAME destroys you now because there's a Troll the other side of the map hurr durr durr!!"

My internet connection randomly goes off frequently and I don't really know why this happens. The issue is it doesn't happen every single day, but sometimes I get the jackpot and it happens two-three days in a row. Now the game threw me to low priority even though I reconnected to the game after 20minutes.
Fuck this leaver system, it's too unfair for situations like this.
