yeah this is a recurring thing for me. I almost always end up buying the courier, wards AND on the suicide lane. I don't mind playing the 5th position, but sometimes it's amazing how self centered my 'teammates' are.
Even when a teammate randoms a support hero, I still end up the one that buys the courier. Minute 30 safe lane free farm shadow blade Crystal Maiden is the new metagame

I have SD de-selected since you can't swap in it. IMO its a real shame since in HoN it was a ton of fun crafting a decent lineup with swaps etc and trying to beat the other guys doing the same thing (it was almost like CM except way more hero variety and kinda jump-started your teamwork by forcing you to work together to get decent picks). Since in Dota you can't swap and can't see your allies options, it is just a terrible terrible mode.
Obligatory QQ about people who lie about what language they speak for matchmaking. Kinda saw it coming though.

Yeah, about this. Haven't played dota in like a week, so I haven't played since the patch hi. Jump on dota last night and get the text prompt: what language do you speak? Naturally I press english and jump in solo queue. Next thing I know I'm matched a chinese premade and another random.
And the chinese...just feeeeeed and feeeeeed. I random troll and go with the US random top lane and destroy them 10-1-1. A chinese mids pudge and never gets kills, fails a gank, chinese morphling afk farms, then afk fountain, and then chinese tiny just...feeds.
Damn, that Tiny. We're on radiant, t2 top tower, and ward vision can clearly see the other team enter the ancient/secret shop area. What does Tiny do? Go to secret shop with 200hp.
I thought the Chinese were good at dota, apparently not. To be fair though literally everyone on the other team could heal (omni, dazzle, enchantress, necro, and wd) and they just 5 man doto with mass arcanes. Which is what you should do when you're up against troll and morph, but hey...

That luna plan is legit if you have no interest in killing enemy heroes (it helps you farm jungle/ancients really fast). Hell, you can jungle luna with glaives/aura.
Playing with SF's who max PotDL with off points into raze and take ulti at 6... T_T (I heard ulti is good without necromastery). He would walk into teamfights and ult... then complain he had no backup. This was a long time ago though...

Lost a game due to a luna doing this build but she was on my side. It's a troll build. Maybe with a necro maxing his aura, no cc, need a chen or enchant.

Well yeah, its extremely fringe. But it *could* be legit. SF builds only work basically 1 way. NM/Raze to 8, ult at 9, etc (unless maybe lvl1 rosh get presence). I admit I have a bad habit of favouring NM over raze at 3 and 5 when I probably shouldn't, but the build still works. At 7 raze is obviously better (2hit waves OP).

I want a personal banlist for this game, where I won't get matched with certain people (against is fine). Like, I get a team SO BAD that I actually straight up abandon (first time) and WHAM they are my team next game. That made me SO MAD.

Just played an extremely infuriating game of Dota 2.
The game started out well for our team, we had a lead of a couple kills in the first 10 minutes. Then the mid-game hit.
Our sniper was farming in our jungle when our Queen of Pain started farming in a totally separate neutral camp. The sniper freaked out and started calling him a noob and saying "only carries farm u noob uninstall steam" and other jaded insults. He then proceeded to only farm the entire game in the same jungle, not helping us in team fights at all.
Team fight after team fight occurred with our team always losing, but by a small margin that could have been bridged by the dps of the sniper. Our team would posture up to team fight top and the sniper would TP bot. By this time, our opponents noticed what was happening and condemned the sniper for his childish actions.
In the end, our sniper was level 25 with manta style, mkb, daedalus, and butterfly. The rest of our team, battered by lost team fights, was average level 16. Sniper would let us team fight and get them all to low health and then suicide in to get 2 kills before he was overwhelmed, all the while insulting our mothers and calling us noobs.
The worst part was that we lost a game we should have won. The good news is that we got everyone in the game to report the sniper, so he'll be enjoying a few days of low priority. Ruined my day though.

When your pudge misses a hook on a stationary shadow fiend, then runs up to clockwerk and bites him when battery assault is running, then dies and types "aff" in teamchat, you know you're in for a long game

I'm tired of every game being fast mek, 2-3 arcane boots, and 5 man deathball until you've got quad cheese before pushing for the win. So many games come down to whichever team can press R first.

You always want to optimize your chance of winning, and your chance of winning increases as your carry gets fatter. Thats why surekills is always left to the carry in progames, and why its so frustrating when zeus decided to use his ulti to killsteal someone who would have died anyways.
So yeah, technically, its an inhered right. (And why bloodseeker in this case is technically right unless there is other harder carries (because he doesn't really fit that role that well). If he uses rupture on someone, they're not going anywhere. So let him get the kill).
Of course, if there is more than one enemy hero around, you'll want to finish them off as quickly as possible. For those situations, use your head 
edit: Also, sometimes the carry isn't the most important role at that time of the game. Notice how Dendi almost always gets most of the kills in the early/mid game. He usually has the role as the ganker, and the ganker gets increasingly better at his job if he has a bit of early lead, which in turn gives the carry additional room to farm on his own. But lets not get too complicated here

He's not totally wrong, cause bs does need to heal through kills, but yeah, pub games, cant really expect people to let you take the kill just because your the carry.
One of my games there was this doom bringer who had pathetic items at 20 minutes, something like a van guard and mana boots, one skill point in devour. He goes on to moan about we were not giving him kills, and hence he did not have any items, and blames me for ksing with torrent and tidebringer lol. At the end his cs was like 40, and he said it was because he was playing "ganking style" and our team did not know how to play that style lol. we did win the match though.
