We got off to a terrific start by outlaning their offlane hard, and by 30 mins, our CK was 23-2. Unfortunately, he was a fucking idiot, and while Veno, ES, and I attacked rax after we rout them, he dove the fountain for more kills, dying. We retreat, but their team had a lot of disable, slow, and general chasing skills so we also died (mostly veno because he didn't have blink like ES and I), failing to take the rax because we deal very little damage. We tell CK not to do that anymore, he's like "it's okay there's no way we can lose." Repeat this 3 more times, and now we're on the sidelines while they take mid and throne us. So I queue to RD, SD, AR and LP. -AR: our team is 5 carry vs their extremely balanced team(and somehow they are a thousand times more coordinated too, but I guess that's what happens when everyone decides they are the most important player ever. At least I bought wards) -RD: I am last pick, they first pick Tiny. Then our team proceeds to pick OD + Storm. Then they pick Wisp. OH WELL. First sentence of a teammate after I mention the wisp/tiny combo: "lol wisp/tiny is a weak combo" -SD: 4carry instalock at 50s. Still no LP game, but boy am I waiting for it. I'll give you a sneak peek of LP: half the players pick their best hero that's still in their pool and try their best, and the other half think of LP mode as a way to just screw around and play a hero they have no idea how to play. Player skill is extremely lopsided, even more so than it commonly is in AP. I have the same game settings as you (RD, SD, AR, LP) and RD is my favorite by far, since IMO it's the best version of AP but without the most popular 3 or 4 heroes every game. Sometimes you'll see troll, drow, etc., but usually only one (or none) in any given game. In a separate rant: I played an RD game yesterday, and the opponent's first pick made the egregious mistake of not picking Magnus as soon as his ugly fucking face showed up in RD, but it was okay, because our first 2 picks didn't choose him either. So their second and third get Mag and PL. I end up with Enigma. Every time he RP'd and I look at my black hole and see it's got still 70 seconds of cooldown, I'm just like "how the fuck is this real?" In other news, I have no idea how to beat PL. Once he gets diffusal, he feeds on supports and gets fat fast. After that, you spend the rest of the game attacking illusions that are stronger than your actual heroes. Half the time his illusions push your lane and he's not even fucking there. My best guess is to put a strong lane against him and shut him down from lvl 1. Of course, in pubs that means PL is basically unstoppable in the hands of a non-retarded player.

Of course, in pubs that means PL is basically unstoppable in the hands of a non-retarded player. It depends on the skill of the PL, but in general I use a gem, that way you can easily spot the real PL. They often are there, but invisible because of dopplewalk. Also, heroes like Luna work against PL. Items like Battle fury, Radiance, Manta, any form of AOE helps against the illusions. Haven't really had any trouble with PL honestly.

For example, despite that one of my teammates DQd and didn't rejoin and no one controlled that character, we were still able take home a 50-16 kill victory(or something like that) Even today when I played a game that was a 4v5 and lost, there were still late-game moments where I felt like we could at least turn this to a close finish. So no matter what Valve implements, I will play with the mentality "It ain't over until the ancient falls"

I'm not xenophobic and I really couldn't care less what language you speak as long as you speak English or Chinese to me because I don't know any other languages LOL. I queued as a 3 stack and the 2 other people either were incapable of speaking English or refused to speak it. One of them even had an open mic so we could hear literally every sound on his computer. Wish someone could teach these people how to use computers ![]() Thats what the mute function is for! =D and what 5stacks are for... =( People who played on us servers and couldnt speak before are just going to hit every option and keep on playing, there isnt anything implemented to stop that yet, nor will there ever be i imagine.

I'm actually not complaining about being unable to win against these heroes (or should I say sorry excuses for heroes), but why should I have to play smarter when all they have to do is roll their ugly dorito-munching faces against the motherfucking keyboard? if your quoting idra with regards to balance you might have problems/misplaced superiority complex. Look for excuses less, adopt a healthier mentality and you will enjoy the game more and get better faster. My qq is on a related note, im a little tired when ppl pick drow or some of the above mentioned heroes and get bitched for it right away or, worse, when my own team starts the game with gg they have drow we lost. What if the guy just feels like playing drow/pl/QoP not for supposed "opness" but for his own fun? I havent played nyx in a while and he's a lot of fun, doesn't mean I'm a skilless dorito-munching newb if I finally pick him. QoP is also pretty fun cause she can be so active around the map. Same goes for tryhard comboes. Ye they can be annoying to play vs, but opponents aren't supposed to prioritize your fun when picking

It didn't matter much and we won both times, but I found it quite funny to have that happen twice in a row. I do that quite often actually, I'm pretty bad at it. Thing is, I look in the fountain, don't see a courier (because who knows what it will look like and I guess I suck at identifying them), and buy another one. The trick I've figured out is you gotta look at the courier control area at the bottom right of the UI. If it says "no courier," buy, otherwise it'll have the courier's current command shown. Separate rant: I lost all my Hero Item Builds! They must have changed it in a recent patch. Pisses me off, because I had about 40 of them, and now I have to reconstruct the initial items and build orders by memory. I had put a lot of work into those.
