i just played a game, did well as support rubick in a trilane, shutting down btm lane (sk invoker in enemy team) top is owning, mid is doing okay. then top (broodmother solo) decides to go rapier first, then dives into a 1v5 and gives it to invoker (later he dies and passes it to a fucking lycan) and rest of the game, he's like "TEAM NOOB" "RAPIER OP" "MORE CHALLENGE" "#YOLO" FUCKING CHRIST OMG | ||

I play Tiny top with an Invoker due to Pugna wanting mid... I was like WTF? But ok. Who cares, pubs are pubs and pubs during the afternoon on the european server are one of the most horrible things I regulary witness, I seriously ask myself why I even play before 9.00 p.m.... There are tons of leavers, feeders, masscarry picks... So I usually just "deal with it" and pick a carry myself :p. But well... Let's go: Invoker is doing a truly awesome Job of harassing the enemy Shadowfiend/Drow (I wonder how that is really possible but I was just happy to get good farm) and I got Firstblood. By ~6.30 I can buy a Midas (I normally just see at how much gold I am at about 5.30-6.00 and then decide between Midas/Arcboot/Phaseboots on Tiny. The chicken is not yet Flying so I decide to purchase that too. So I did this: I purchase Midas (only reciepe) I purchase Flying. See that the Chick is flying and has a reciepe stored. Sell the recipe because I tought it was flying (wtf... flying isn't even a reciepe). "+700" shows on my screen. GRHNGNGNGLGLGNGGLGGL Serious brainlag is serious... We still stomped but, but... ugh. Boy was I glad that noone noticed. | ||

Only took me one game to tick off US East, I'd rather play with the worst Russian stereotypes any day over this. They may not try as hard, wards may be an alien concept to them and they don't try to replicate competitive picks and strategy, but at least they don't speak English and thus are unable to be this obnoxious. | ||

I just had a really fun game. It was evenly matched, both teams were doing well, and then our sven dced. He dced once before, and came back, so we knew he'd be back. It took him like 5 minutes tho, so we had to wait a bit. Well, the enemy pudge decided he was gonna douche it up, and kept unpausing our chain pauses. The enemy team then took advantage of the situation and raxed us. Ofc sven shows up, but it's too late at that point. God damn it, one thing I liked about getting into the "very high" bracket was that this shit didn't happen. The manners in the games improved significantly. This pudge bucked that trend tho. Wouldn't wait, and was a totally asshole in chat about it. Kept calling us babies, and that his "time was valuable". I am sorry, but if you're playing low-skill pub dota at 9:00 in the morning, your time in not fucking valuable and you can wait the extra three minutes for a player to come back. Jesus christ I hate people sometimes. Worst part is the rest of the enemy team was actually being mannered about it, this pudge just decided to go on a solo asshole tear. | ||

Every single naga player I've seen always uses ulti to get away, nothing else. I've never seen a naga use ulti to initiate, not once ever. Like wtf man. Farming in enemy jungle then push lane with all enemy heroes mia? Any other hero you'd get ganked and instagibbed. With naga it's LOL SONG OF BALANCE and they get away scott free. Wtf man. Start winning a teamfight? SONG OF BALANCE~ HUEHUEHUE. One time was funny, my team roshed and we killed him, Naga comes up and starts fighting, we turn around to kill her, she ultis...then runs away w/o picking up aegis. LOL. Fucking invisibility is better to deal with than song of siren, at least you can dust/gem/sentry. I swear all naga players must come from LoL or something because I've never seen something so blatantly used as a get out of jail free card. But yeah fuck naga | ||

Heck, yesterday my team and I were getting owned by a Naga, but then she saved us and pretty much thrown the game when she saved us from a great Sand King Epicenter. We won the fight and made a great comeback. | ||

It takes coordination to use song to set up sick aoe ults like ravage/epi etc., but very little to realize your team is losing or that you're about to get ganked and you need to leave. Even for pros, we saw in TI2 how using her ultimate to initiate can bite you in the ass. | ||
