I used to think that too but then I saw dendi play hard support in a pub and constantly get kills and never die and ended up with a 30min eblade dagon 5 or something. I honestly think if people would stop caring so much about their team sucking and looked at their own play, they'd realize there's a ton of holes and they could easily win what seems like a lost game. There's a reason those guys feeding on your team are similar mmr.

I don't see how winrate is relevant at all when the skill level of your opponents vs Waga's are completely different. Not to mention alot of his teammates are legitimately 2k+ lower than he is. Unless you're also 7k, in which case sorry your games suck.

In the case of the very top players, the MMR of their teammates will often be significantly below the enemy teams MMR, so they are literally being weighed down in order for it to be a balanced match. In your games, every player is generally very close to the average MMR of the game, so the heavy players on the other team balance things out on average. Ofcourse there are games that are literally unwinnable nomatter how well you play, but in my experience that's not more than 5% of games (when I'm being honest about what I could've done). At the very top they probably have a few more of those games, because of MMR disparity shenanigans.

there's also the fact that waga's played close to 2k solo ranked games and still maintains a 55% winrate. My winrate started out like that in solo ranked for like 500 games before I reached my plateau and wasn't good enough to keep moving up after that

playing games above 5k mmr is a waste of time, why would I strive to get better mmr when im just going to get worse teammates as time goes on

Had 2 really shitty games just now. Game one, a duo stack getting mad at someone picking techies, starts more or less feeding. Of course I have to play carry/spacecreator/support at the same time, game was unwinnable. Game two, get matched with a guy I had played with before, I knew he was bad and he also had a wierd habbit of buying the recipes first for everything (like, he bought the recipes for both sange and yasha before anything else). The silencer in my team, had no clue about positiong and thought it was good to stand in front (He even said so himself). And of course your typical midder who says everyone sucks (while obviously being terrible himself). Game 2 I guess was kind of winnable if I started directing my team a bit earlier, but even then it felt really hard.
Edit: Third game, we get a cliffjungling queen of pain and the guy that actually got mid starts griefing after a while. I am just not ment to win. Why is everyone that wants to play mid such entitled kids. Most games are won by the midlane, but not because of skill but because the team with the least number of whining midlane wannabe dendis wins.

I was the hipster who plays (almost) exclusively with sniper but no more. screw metagame/trend. but is all good because my other most heroes included PA and Weaver.
