You'd think it's going fine, but unfortunately as the game goes on the enemy starts roaming as 5 while our midas-toting Chen and solo-farming Jakiro buy 0 wards or detection for Gondar. The enemy CK managed to get the farm he needs in lane while our PA didn't. Our supports continue farming, and we never contest a tower. As we reach lategame we have a PA with nothing but phase and battlefury, a Jakiro with a mjollnir and aghs, and a Chen who somehow still only has midas and mek. The two of the latter are of course friends who scream "noob" and "report" as their farm fails to pay off vs bounty and CK. I really need to learn to not get relaxed when I'm dominating a game, I spent way too much time on trying to keep their heroes down as there were a lot of them that were easy for me to kill, and didn't farm lanes at all after I had my blink. Can never count on allies I guess. | ||

hon experience says that if there was no random gold ap would be way more tryhard, if ur into that kinda thing u can just play leagues or scrims or something anyway | ||

And how does removing random gold make AP "more tryhard"? What does that even mean? You can still random all you want, you just start with 603 gold instead of 853? | ||

it's a onesided stomp unless the invoker plays carelessly lol it means that people pick real lineups and wait to counterpick and stuff like that why would anyone random if you don't get +250 gold edit: okay people still random for fun but it's a lot less common because no fun allowed or something like that | ||

i guess i explained that badly, it doesn't matter if you wanna pick a real lineup or something, it's just that a lot of the time people in hon get super pissed if you random (like seriously forfeit-at-15 pissed) of course that's not necessarily true in dota 2 but i'd imagine it to be pretty similar if random gold was removed edit: basically tryhards are cool as long as they aren't dicks about it i think removing random gold justified being a dick for a lot of people plus for all the people who were already dicks it gave them another opportunity to flaunt their (very short) weiners my highly objective analysis says that i saw about ten times as many players complain after their teammates randommed post random gold change | ||

And for what it's worth, my top 2 most played heroes in dota 2 are SF at #1 and invoker at #2, having played over 100 games as both heroes. | ||
