Ranked game. We have Void on our side and a decent lineup otherwise, I am on Rhasta so feel pretty good about this win. First sign of trouble is when Void calls me idiot for "not letting him farm" when anyone with a brain could see my projectiles coming out after he should have hit, so only taking cs he would have missed anyway. Then calling Jakiro an idiot for not getting the perfect icepath in a chaotic fight in dire safelane (we almost killed two but they both escaped; Void was also super-slow on reaction to gank situations repeatedly).
But I really knew it was trouble when he went 6/8 despite us going out to an early four-tower lead, him having tons of space, and yet somehow being unable to press "R" in even the most obvious situations, including ones where a teammate was getting jumped a whole 1000 units away right outside our base. Naturally he was calling all of us idiots and useless until we had to mute him.

[Edit] Have lost EVERY game with Techies on team so far but from watching Wagamama play it's clear this hero is actually pretty legit. Not sure which is worse, to be honest: Techies being so bad people stop picking them (does that happen?) or being a legit hero that looks like a lot of fun but takes too much game sense to make work. Probably the latter.

Lost a game because we spent 30 minutes trying to push into Tinker techies. Meanwhile, "support" WD steals my farm (stacks + contest last hits) and buy:
Aghs + Linkens + Shivas when we needed a Hex, and he needed a BKB. He never got 1 channeled off, because the centaur/meepo/tinker would instantly burst him down. Meanwhile, the enemy CM gets free lane farm because Meepo and Tinker are jungling and pushing other lanes, went Hex + Shivas. At the end: "GG nice comeback". Nice fucking throws you mean....

I got a Techies in ARDM near end when we had couple spawns left and other team was down 2 raxes and I spent 5 mins mining up our base, first time on the hero.
Got an abandon for inactivity, 2nd abandon in 2 years.
Fuck me, at least we won with my Stasis trap while creeps killed their ancient.

Hm. Every game I've had a techies in (every game) i've lost. If I have a techies on my team, it's not even like they're usually bad, it's just in the end game they drop off and we lose to the late game of the other team.
Last game, the opposite team had a techies who went mid. I have no idea how but he crushed our Zeus mid. How do you lose mid against techies as a zeus? How is that even possible? You even have bolt to scout for mines.
Our safe lane lina morph then proceeds to lose to the opposing silencer tusk combo with lina feeding out 7 kills within 15 minutes ending the game 0-11-2. I'm an offlane bounty that gets to 1v1 a void. Even trade, but I can't really stop him from farming.

don't do this ever, not only is it confusing as fuck and puts the other player in the mindset that he has to compete for last hits which is unnecessary pressure but there is also more useful stuff you could do around the map while not taking the carrys exp, such as stacking camps, pulling or ganking. Leeching exp for a fast 6 on rhasta should not come at the expense of your carry, there will be other opportunitys to get exp.

I was in no way competing with him. And you're focusing on one part of my post and not the part where we gave him tons of space and he sucked all fucking game including watching teammates die and feeding and refusing to use his ult, the whole reason he's there. God damn carries cry a fucking lot. When I'm playing one I can tell the difference between someone competing with me for last hits (does happen) and backing up CS with late projectiles. I am a reasonable fucking person so if it's the latter I won't complain at all.
Let me put it this way since you're determined I'm in the wrong here: in the small handful of times I shot at a creep usually it was *already dead* (not to the void) by the time projectile landed, that is how late I was attacking. I think I actually got 1-2 cs in 3-5 shots over a few minutes, and got called an idiot by a terrible fucking player for my trouble. Then I helped the rest of the team get out to a four tower lead in which Void participated almost not at all, which would have been fine by everyone if he, you know, carried. But we couldn't finish because he didn't, and while he was terrible he kept up the same calling everyone idiots and useless that he was when I shot at dead creeps. But yes I'm the ass.
Hey what was the other time I was an ass? The terrible Techies player who wouldn't support, went to lane, died, and then sat in the fountain for the rest of the game?

Go beyond godlike as support AA and get a 15 minute aghs. Our TB goes 1-13, our drow picks into a pudge, storm, huskar, AM, Ogre lineup and doesn't even get blink, of course we have a techies, who never set a single stasis trap and ended the game 3-19-2. After aghs I held the opposing AM to a 25 minute manta after he got a 13 minute bfury and we still couldn't do anything T.T
Oh, perhaps funniest play of the night. TB is farming enemy jungle, AM blinks in next to him with like 200hp, TB panic sunders him and immediately dies.

AM farms safe, i am mid as Silencer, Enigma in the woods. Mirana support / roams and Pugna is on hard lane solo.
Pugna starts a wonderful 0-15 feeding spree, at some point Mirana and Enigma join the fun (1-7 and 1-10).
AM and Pugna start yelling at each other, AM ports around in the woods and begs them to "ff".
This game shouldve been an easy win looking at the setup... :-/
