I seriously doubt that. Unless by similar games you mean the original dota. But that's a small percentage of the player pool. Most players with HoN experience should be 3k++ easily, for example. Also people who have another dota account. Also original dota players. Hell, experienced and skilled league players should get to 3k inside 100 games no problem. 3k is really low rated. Yes, truly new players won't be at 3k, but it doesn't take thousands of games to achieve 3k.
I still do not see why it should just throw people into 3k tier, not based on wins but just on a rough estimation based on a couple of unranked games. In SC2 the highest tier you can start at is gold which is probably comparable to 1.5-2k and you get higher than that by winning games. In dota people might get rated as high as 4k just based on unraked games and placement matches.
When you should truly belong in a higher tier, you will stomp your way there in no time. I've just had some awful games since the new influx of players where when either team had a tbd ranking that team got stomped. I went 20/0 in 20 min. and 22/3 in 30 min. with no feeders in my last 3 games, just people who were in a tier where they didn't belong. It's no fun no matter what team you're on. 3k might be low, but it's not: void-does-not-know-which-lane-he's-going - low.

I literally cannot remember the last time I won 4 games in a row. Loss streaks are endless and plentiful. Never, ever, ever, ever do I have win streaks. Ever. Sad fucking solo queue dota. An utterly disheartening experience.

I don't mind awful players, however i mind if someone isn't trying. A friends friend is awful at the game, he has literally no gamesense and is feeding a lot. That would be fine but what really annoys me however is that he randoms a hero and he doesn't even know how his abilitys work. If he randoms a mid hero or a carry or offlane the game is basically 4v6, if he randoms a jungler or a support the game is 4v5. After directly telling him that i won't play with him anymore if he randoms, he said sure i pick next game. He picked Invoker, for his first game ever and fed 5 lives in the first 10 minutes.
After the game i kicked him from the party, deleted him from my friendslist and searched for another game with only 2 players, my friend didn't realize that and accepted and he is now salty about me kicking him from the party...

I don't fucking understand why it is so hard for some "support" players to buy wards. The enemy fucking Shadow Shaman is on point. Why can't our supports buy a single fucking pair of wards between them? Oh, sure, they buy the first one, then no obs, no sentries. We get dewarded. I spend my meager gold on wards that I can't even lay because we have no map control.
It's not that often I want to actually kill these people and see how much better the world becomes.

Somtimes i just go godlike mode and win 8-9 games in a row, then for days i lose lose lose

Having a bad mid is really shitty.
But a blind bad mid is even worse.
I warded the rune spot at 0:00 seconds and rewarded it at 7 minutes.
Our QoP gets no runes.

Shadow blade on lune before bkb against AA, DS, WR and blood. Ofc after 1 simple nuke , they can see her. I experiment solo hard qop without dying in laning phase against dual stack AA and Medusa. They have some clue about the game and ward me off. Skype has power.
It is so rare to see a luna-venge-lion trilane beaten down that hard by a simple duo lane. Venge got domi, lion got mek+blink but never initiate any fight, Drow mom+SB against blood, Luna had SB and an another domi. None of the dominators are used for stacking or whatever.
This is one of the games you know your team have absolutely no clue about the game and having the same points as you.

The most exhausting game I've ever played. Even though we won, I didn't enjoy a single minute of it. When people pick these super tryhard lineups it's virtually impossible for us to win safely until we secure a significant advantage. Pushing into kotl + tinker with the potential threat of 3 fantastic split pushers knocking on our door is a nightmare. One of the few games where I actually felt glad to be playing solo ward bitch cause I probably would've thrown the game if I were a core.

3 of us random, I get bat, 2 others get supports. 2 remaining pick cores. One support repicks. Remaining support proceeds to not buy a courier, or wards, or anything remotely resembling support items. I end up being a position 5 batrider with a 30 minute blink dagger.

Start of the game. TA mid feeds sniper.
The game goes on, TA keeps feeding. but we are ahead 15-20 kills
lategame: we don't play very well as a team, we get tri raxed
then it's just defend the tier 4 and counterpush, luckilly thanks to a lot of assists i have so much disable/support (meka, force, eul and medallion) and our slark + void are soo carried that we can still win the fights.
the counterpush is done 3 times with ta in defense (she's finally doing a good work), the rest of the team pushes.
eventually we get to the dire thone, we start hitting hit. i watch back... and TA is pushing bot lane, (the last lane with racks up) she already passed the river .
just try to immagine what happens.

Couple games where I was snowballing out of control but we couldn't complete the objectives and close it out.

IN the 2k+ games i played, not counting the past week i lost maybe 10 when having a kill lead at the end mark.
This past week i lost at least 15 with having huge kill leads (which were a ton bigger still at some point in the game)

how is it possible to lose your lane with viper? And i'm talking about outright losing the lane he was lvl 6 when the other mid hero (windrunner) was lvl 11. I guess i have to watch the replay because this unreal, sure it is not the easiest matchup in the world however there is no fucking way that you get solo-killed 3 times, despite supports ganked his mid twice. WTF

as soon as it hits night i let people know he's missing, but not a single one of these chucklefucks have even seen a ward in their lives (i mean like literally 0 wards bought) and ignore each time i point out he's missing... always die.

then they tell me i got "shit on mid" when i didn't die in lane, denied NS farm, and i'm the only one who managed to finish an item
