On the Zeus build;
Any particular reason to go Lightning Bolt before Static Field in levels 2 and 3?
I find that when you go mid, you're unlikely to get many kills/assists pre-ultimate so it generally works out better to stick the 2nd point in Static Field and then max out Lightning Bolt for the last hits/harassment

Zeus is very capable of getting kills without Ultimate. You can only do it solo in lower-mid level pubs, but if you're not maxing Bolt at 3 and 5 you void the possibility of your supports ganking effectively for you against a lot of heroes because you don't have the damage to finish a kill.

The build should almost universally be Chain lightning/Static Field/Bolt/Bolt/Bolt/Ult/Bolt.
at level 3 the damage is probably about the same Chain/Lvl2 Bolt vs Chain/Bolt/Static Field isn't it? plus the extra harass.

Do the math on what their max HP needs to be for 5% current HP to come close to Bolt's +75 damage. It's well beyond what you'd reasonably see on a level 3 enemy hero.
The only time you'd take Static at 2 or 3 is if you have zero kill potential or you're behind enough that you won't get your Bottle soon and can't afford to spend mana on Bolt anyway (and even in that case, 1 rank Static won't change the lane if you're that behind, while having more damage in a gank might if it gets you a kill when someone comes to help you out). Chain/Bolt/Bolt far outdamages Chain/Static/Bolt in any situation where you're attempting a kill early game and it's not remotely close.

Well you get it at least twice since you are casting chain + bolt, (probably more chain casts) although I admit it does less damage after the first cast for obvious reasons.
Plus it helps you whittle down the opponent in-lane pre-kill attempt and costs less mana.
If you know that for certain at exactly level 2 or 3 you will be ganking the mid hero, then I can see bolt at 2 and 3 but otherwise you surrender so much free harass that I dislike it. Zeus doesn't really go mid to kill the enemy hero, he just goes mid for XP. But his harass is very strong (and will be substantially stronger post-6.79 pool nerf i'm guessing) so I prefer the build that shores up your weak early lane presence since by the time you are level 5 assuming a decently even lane the end result is the same.
I'm willing to accept that my way isn't always optimal but i prefer it a lot simply for laning power

Ok wow, they pushed the patch earlier than expected. I'll have to double the pace.
Guide system still hasn't updated to the latest patch.

Need to verify Spectre's and and Meepo's skill build (it's much harder now).
Another annoyance is that the prices are not updated in these guides, so I can't change starting builds.

I think the fastest farming meepo build is 1-2-0-1 at 4, whereas ganking is 1-1-1-1 at 4. Still poof max first and ult whenever possible.

Oh wow, I can't believe they wouldn't update the guides to allow the higher starting gold. That's really terrible, it ensures that every guide is out of date for the new patch. Hopefully that will get corrected quickly.

That was the original build with level 6 being the ult. I may reverse it, but the extra damage from the slow, now that your ult no longer gives 30% of your stats seems interesting.
Just an unreasoned thought for now. I'll update its descriptions and shit for now, come back and revise starting items when the new gold costs are put in then tweak builds for certain heroes.
Then comes the updating for new metas which happens across the span of 2-3 months.

and then going to do more tomorrow.
Sadly, I'm far away from finishing or even establishing them as 6.79 versions (starting items for starters are completely changed)

Just reached page 10. Doing 2 to 4 more pages today (12 guides in total),
- then will have to update their starting items (???)
- revise validity statements
- then update hero descriptions
- publicize

Will be publicizing them now.
