After all these years I've decided to give SCII a shot. The problem is that I'm having blue screen and random crashes during the first 5 minutes of game... I have no problem with that playing SC:BW, Battlerit or even Overwatch but when I try playing HOTS/SCII I get freeze, strange noises from CPU and game crashes/blue screen appears.
The setup I run is : Intel Core i5-240M 2.60 Ghz Intel HD Graphics 3000 nVidia GeForce GT540M Windows 7
I have no idea what the problem can be, anyone have any solutions? Or what should I try to avoid it !?!
Edit : Seems like it's the same problem as listed here : us.battle.net

That sounds like my laptop lol. Did you disable the intel HD graphics so that only Nvidia ones are working? From my experience, I had no problems running the game in any of its iteration (LoTV is slowest though but laptop has aged).

It's just the BW gods are saving you from SCII

I've also updated Windows / nVidia drivers / disabled all programs running in the background and nothing worked. Ran as administrator as well. When I start campaign the game just dies / freezes / crashes / bluescreens after 5 minutes of playing...
This happens only in Heroes Of the Storm and SCII, all other games works fine.

I went do default nVidia settings. Changed everything to low in SC2 options.
Now I'm running into Display Driver stopped working and has recovered and game dies.

Moved this to tech support. Would get more advice there. Do you know what your gpu temps are like? Other option is to try and reinstall the games again but that's the long way lol.

Reinstalling doesn't work, I already did that couple of times. Also overheating is not an option, I've checked that as well.
Tried using older nVidia drivers as someone recommended on Blizz forums but that didn't help. I have no idea on what's going on but that makes me pretty sad, I wanted to play SC2 after all that time but I can't :<
Also I've resetted nVidia settings to default to avoid any kind of overclocking and stuff - still didn't help...

My friend also has this problem, and he's got brand new PC. We haven't found solution since he gave up on it...

launch the game in 32 bit mode

So, no help so far?
What I've did so far : Uninstall / Installed Starcraft II Uninstalled / Installed oldest / newest GFX drivers / DirectX Tried running as Administrator Tried running on 32 bit Set everything on low Tried creating some registry entry as someone suggest on blizz forums CPU is not overheating GFX is not overclocked
Did everything what was suggested on Blizzard forums and google'd some other stuff and nothing helped.
From having screen freezing into bluescreen I got SC2 freeze into Display driver stoppped working but has recovered error. Still can't play this game for shit. I know it's because of nVidia graphic card but holy jesus, people been complaining about this error for over than 3 years and we still have no solution? Can't believe it.
Or maybe he's overheating? ;;
Edit : Just cleaned the fan, got temperature drop to 63-65 degrees and nothing changed. SC2 still freezes and u can hear the sound of a machine-gun alike in the background.

I'm sorry I'm bumping this but I gave up.
Can't play any single game, SC2, DotA2 or HOTS. Same story everytime, computer freezes after I launch the game with the "bzzz" sound in the background and I can't do anything except resetting.
Any ideas?
Edit : Before some pop-up appeared "Display Driver Nvidia Windows Kernel Mode Driver has stopped working but has recovered."
Edit2 : nVidia Inspector SS
Edit : NVM I FIXED IT FOR NOW.
