 Any experience on washing mechanical keyboards in a dishwasher?? Should I add dishwasher soap? or just empty run? I'd suggest yanking off the keys with a key-puller and using rubbing alcohol / a rag as necessary. [A dishwasher probably wouldn't work well for a keyboard's crevices anyway.] Edit: Congratulations that it worked. Disassembling the keyboard was a good idea [I hadn't realized this was the plan initially]. I would still fear the cord getting stuck in the spinning sprayer inside of most dishwashers. | ||

Pretty stupid but if the board is grounded and you use demineralised water and let it dry 100% completely shouldn't be an issue but still not recommended.He's using tap water which has minerals that will remain on the board and could cause corrosion. | ||
