As far as I know that's the only shop where you can buy it and Zowie currently has no plans of releasing it in Europe or the US.

Don't buy it just because Flash has it. Flash gets paid tons of money from Zowie to use it.

Every progamer from Kespa is using either this one or the G9x, cause they've simple shapes like the one they were used to use before I guess, so yeah it's a good mouse, and the white/red one looks nice

I've used a Mico for about a year and a half now, since right after it came out. The scroll wheel broke within ~1 month of my buying it, but I don't think it's a widespread problem with Micos anymore. Aside from that, it's a very good mouse. Simple, lightweight, fast, and accurate clicks (the click is actually pretty heavy, so it took some getting used to at first, but I ended up liking it).

I also thought the KT edition looked very cool :p I would totally buy it if it were for sale in the US, and I have the excuse that the scroll wheel on my old mico is broken. Too bad it seems like it's only available in Korea.

Well its the same as having flashy lights, I think this mouse looks great with the logo and the colors and I'm not even a fan of that team.

Did I tell him not to use it? I said don't buy it JUST because Flash uses it. It's certainly a good mouse but it's not the best in the market by far.

I would get it if I could. I like that art, and I'm already using a similar mouse for gaming myself, so the transition wouldn't be that bad

They are not good. You run the risk of having them not work well with your motherboard and there is no fix besides unplugging it restarting.

Also the mouse click is very stiff. If you ever have used a razer product this click will be a nightmare to get used to.

They only good thing about them is the shape and not driver usb.... I love the shape but at the end of the day its very very unreliable mouse and cost a lot for what it offers.

The mouse, and every other mouse, is fairly simple to mod out the stiffness in the clicks. You say the only thing good about it is the shape, but that's actually the most important part in finding the right mouse.

It has its problems, but to say it is not good is opinionated, not factual. If it's unreliable, why is a pro gamer like Flash using it? It's understandable you aren't fond of the mouse, but that's your experience with it, not everyone else's.

Personally, I hated the stiff clicks, and modified the switches and now they're soft. It responds perfectly fine and tracks well at 400 and 800 dpi. The highest DPI setting, I believe it's 1600, is artificial, so I wouldn't recommend using it.

Other than that, I've had no problems with it "not working well" with motherboards, and I've used it on several other computers. Even if it did, it's not something that would make me stop using it, it's not like it's going to stop functioning mid game. I'm sure that issue is not as prevalent as some are making it out to be, at least, I've never experienced it in the last year.

I'd pay 30 bucks for this mouse over any razer mouse any day, don't make cost more important than comfort. If it works and it feels good in your hand, what's the problem? That goes with any mouse, not just this one.

Because he is able to get a new one from his team every second week.
The Mico often times is indeed malfunctioning in different ways, as reported throughout the web and also in the original TL thread.

@topic i haven't seen one with this particular livery there yet, but maybe they'll pop up on gmarket.co.kr as well

Dunno what you're talking about, I have this mouse for over a year now and never had any malfunctions or other problems. The only negative thing I can say is that it doesn't work without a mouse pad and mouse movement feels different on different cloth mousepads.

I disagree, as long as you can get a grip style to work well after a couple hundred hours of use, everything is secondary to the sensor performance and details

I recently bought 2 Zowie mico blues since the first one had the sensor "jump bug", where the cursor jumps a small distance on the screen for no reason at a random occasion, the second one had it as well though so i returned them both. On average it happend about once every 2 minutes for the first mico, the second one averaged about once every 5 minutes. Needless to say unacceptable. I tried with different settings and on different mouse surfaces, hardpad and cloth.

In this thread you can see a picture in paint of how it looks when the cursor does a "jump". http://www.overclock.net/t/1084929/my-zowie-mico-experience

I emailed zowie last week, havent gotten an answer yet. From what ive read on the OC forums Zowie are aware of this issue, i really hope they fix it.. this sensor bug has been here for quite some time on the micos now.

I just ordered it :p. One question tho: It still not working with ASUS motherboard?

Thats why I didnt buy it immediately, but I have looked for mouses and no one seems as good as Mico for me (if it works) the shape looks perfect and also stiff clicks seems good. Recently bought an abyssus, but shape was only ok but the clicks was awful, couldnt get used to them being so light. So still playing with my Roccat mouse.

I'd definitely love to get one too. Joygear doesn't ship overseas at all? Still might be able to use some buy & mail service in that case... They also have stuff on Amazon Japan. Just that the KT stuff is out of stock on the Joygear site, has it been available or are they waiting for the initial shipment?

Sucks if Zowie has no plans to bring this elsewhere... Wonder if that's the case with the presumably upcoming GSL and maybe StarTale stuff as well...

Just think about what you said. You're agreeing with me.

You don't need 5000dpi or special on the fly features. You just need a mouse that works, and these days, practically any gaming mouse will work. Comfort is priority, whether you force yourself to get used to it, or buy one that fits you perfectly already, hence, why the Mico was created (or I should say, used by many coming from BW) because the LMO sensor went out of date.

Mine works fine with ASUS boards, maybe I'm just lucky, or maybe people are just unlucky.

This situation isn't as simple as that.

I wouldn't recommend buying a gaming mouse unless you demoed it. If it's all for show then by all means go ahead. If you actually plan on using it; well, you might want to check it out first like scph said. It's all about comfort.

Besides the MiCO liking to bug around, the stiff click really is something to consider. I have a lot of mice lying around and not one has a click as stiff as the MiCO does have. I strongly advise to get your hands on a MiCO and see (or rather click) for yourself.
Opening up the mouse in order to soften the click is not for everyone and you loose warranty.

I've had a mico for about a year and had 0 problems with it so far.

Only thing that could be annoying for some users is that it doesn't work without a mouse pad. Aside from that it's the best mouse I've ever used/owned.

I've also had a problem with mine and hard mousepads. On my Goliathus it works great! I am still having to train my fingers to press hard enough (especially the right click) because of the switches. The form is a lot better for me than the Deathadder, and I like how light it is but also solidly built. It looks like a toy but when you feel it you can tell it is of good quality. The coating is really good as well, not textured but still gives grip.

I picked the Mico because it is great for fingertip/claw grip (even for my sasquatch hands), simple (no side buttons or insanely high DPI), and very good tracking at 800dpi. If it works for Flash it works for me

I just bought one off amazon, I've it's my favorite mouse now, second to the abyssus. After a week of use, I've got the squeaky mouse wheel, but no pixel jumping-- I can live with this. I liked the razer abyssus, minus the weird shape and some bug that seems to reset the number of lines my mouse wheel scrolls to 40+ every time I restart.

Try to recreate this in MSPaint.

Basically, just grab the pen tool and move your mouse vertically back and forth at a relatively quick pace. The jump occurs seemingly randomly when you move the mouse in any direction, but is most evident when moving straight up and down.

If your Mico is truly "jump free".... consider selling it on ebay. That shit's gold, son.

Oh yea, I see what you are saying. Have you ever had it negatively affect your gameplay?

Nah, not really. It's probably not going to make you lose games. Just a mild annoyance, really.

Every progamer from Kespa is using either this one or the G9x, cause they've simple shapes like the one they were used to use before I guess, so yeah it's a good mouse, and the white/red one looks nice

1) I dunno where you get your info but those are not the only mice used by progamers at all (though the g9x is fairly popular)
2) The g9x does not qualify as a "Simple Shaped" mouse, it has one of the most unique shape I have ever seen in a mouse and actually does not feel like any other mouse I have ever used (including the classic g1 / g3)

Holy crap I didn't know that was a bug with the mouse. I thought it was my system doing it.

There's a version of drivers that don't do that, 2.00 if I recall. They do, however, seem turn off mouse pointer precision. Only a problem if your part of the minority that uses that though

I have a Zowie Mico for 6 months now and it's maybe the best mouse I ever had. This mouse is soooo accurate and so good to play with in SC2. But you need to learn to use this mouse because it has hard clicks, which can be a problem for those who are used to Razer mice. You need to "tap" the button and not simply click, see how you need to click and how you need to hold it.

And there is no jumps, you need a black soft cloth mouse pad to have the most efficient use of this mouse.
