Laptop to TV audio problem

I've recently gotten rid of my digital cable service, and I've been watching TV through the internet. My television is connected to my gfs laptop via HDMI. I'm getting some audio feedback every three or 4 minutes that last for 10-15 seconds. The rest of the time, the audio is just fine.

Separately, the TV and the laptop have not had any audio issues whatsoever. It only seems to be when they're connected via HDMI.

Any ideas for troubleshooting.

Possibly switching Hdmi coords or blowing the ends with air or trying a diff hdmi port or depending on your tv going just straight into the vga coord plus a 3.5 mm head phonr coord
