As you say, I don't really care about the features of the Ducky so I hope I made a good choice anyways. I've been loving my Filco dude. + Show Spoiler +

That looks amazing. Out of curiosity, how much does that frame on a filco cost? On another note, I'm in the market to get a work keyboard. It does need to have browns so that I don't annoy the crap out of everybody around, and I will be installing orings since I bottom out every key I press(yay for heavy hands). Preference is on blank keys and possibly a color schemed keyboard of sorts. Are my only options either a WASD+custom keycaps or Das? I'd prefer to not have an idle set of keycaps if possible.

Will you need the tenkey? Also what is your budget? Going to be tough to find an off the shelf keyboard with blank keys (besides DAS) but you could always go with a Leopold keyboard since they do have side printed keys.

Full 104 key is required since I do a fair amount of work on the numpad. Budget I'll leave fairly open, under $200 usd including shipping for the moment.

I highly recommend getting a hybrid Plum board, there's a non-backlight 108 version. It comes in 45g, that said the keys feel like Topre switches so you won't feel a tactile bump like you do with browns. The switches feel like a much higher quality red switch (the only real comparable is the actuation force and lack of tactile bump, you can actually feel the key presses tho). The board comes with dental bands installed so it makes no sound at all. The seller is pretty chill. I know he has plenty of sets of blank keycaps, he might accept swapping them free of charge (long shot but who knows). The board itself feels amazing, i have the 35g and 45g versions of the Plum 75 (which has the same switch, it's just smaller). Feel-wise it's up there with my Topre Realforce, i prefer gaming with my Plum and i prefer typing with my Realforce. I prefer the Plum over every mech keyboard on the market (and i have a ton of them including a Filco Majestouch), it's built like a tank too. The seller is a poster on geekhack and deskthority, if you have any questions just msg him there. His id on geekhack = xuanwumen, his id on deskthority = mech greenhand. He also accepts paypal and offers a discount if you contact him on either site. https://www.aliexpress.com/store/product/Noppoo-new-60-size-compact-noppoo-mini-mechanical-keyboard-cherry-mx-red-switches-gaming-keyboard-PBT/818123_2047420314.html?spm=2114.12010612.0.0.44243bf1UDw0BO The default keycaps are PBT but he also has a ton of other options in his store: https://www.aliexpress.com/store/group/Keycaps/818123_503723494.html?spm=2114.12010612.0.0.4f48d907Lu1AMJ

I think a Leopold might suit you well if you can deal with side print caps. If not you could get a Leopold and throw a set of PBT Blanks on there. I know the Leopolds usually come with a variety of switches and case colors. Some even have PBT Doubleshots direct from the factory which I thought was super nifty.

Main options I've been looking at are the Ducky Shine 6 and the corsair k70 lux rgb, most people say the build quality for the ducky shine 6 are better overall, plus issues with non-standard keycaps for the k70, though I'm not that interested in replacing the keycaps at the moment. Any other boards I should put into consideration? Rosewill makes some pretty good keyboards at a decent price. Could also look @ Tesoro, Ganss, Cooler Master, KUL, Varmilo, MechanicalKeyboards.com brand. Could also check out Topre if you're looking for tactile, I know they make the RGB Realforce...

Does anyone have experience with that brand? Ive never seen those before, they seem to be rather rare in EU.

They come in two versions, either orange (whish is similar to cherry blue) and brown (which is similar to cherry red). Company says that this keyboard has about 10 times better reaction time. There are 3 main models: B975 B945 - numpad at the left side B930 - no nampad Here is the link where you can check them out https://www.amazon.com/Bloody-B975-Optical-Keyboard-Aluminum/dp/B079GBLXNV?th=1 Unfortunately besides B930 they are not sold in my country, so I wanted to ask your opinions whether it's worth to wait for them. In Europe you could buy those for half the price that's on Amazon so it's also extremely cheap. Also - is there any other mechanical keyboard with brown / red switches and nampad at the left side? I need it for my work, but I also like to have both hands close to each other during gaming.

Bonus points if you can find me where to buy this version.

Their previous boards had some issues but i'm looking into the newer ones. Curious if there are double digit millisecond (or even high single digit) latency differences against my current board, an ancient WASD v1 that i have to run over USB now. edit: Most likely my keyboard is using 125hz USB & getting that lag penalty - it threw off my osu timings when i swapped ps/2 to usb and back. Tons of variance between keyboards as well. Seems that the answer to my question is most likely yes. The faster board there (good electronics & 1000hz usb poll) gets a 15ms lag in CSGO while the slower ones are at 39ms (bad electronics + 125hz poll) which should be really obvious. A 125hz polling rate also adds a random 0-8ms of additional lag which makes it harder to press a key within a tiny timing window for rhythm games. That 15ms value is near-perfect for CSGO 300fps @180hz while the other keyboards are clearly adding ~24ms latency. That's even before getting into a full optical switch board! I haven't found any similar and good latency tests for those, do they exist? very hard to find numbers for even other regular keyboards, so few people test their performance

I have a Das Model S with MX Blues that I used to play a lot of video games with, but I feel like the MX Blue switches make it too loud. Is there a "quiet" mechanical keyboard out there that anybody could recommend me? Preferably with a 10key It's ancient MX Blue has an audible click as part of the switch so it's louder. Brown has a physical pressure change as you press down on the switch, so it's got a bit of the blue feel but doesn't make much of an audible click; they've been labeled as "silent" or "office" switches before. Red/Black are linear (different feel, smooth+light) and don't make a sound from the key actuation. The sound that you hear from keyboards of those switch types (red, black, brown etc) is almost all due to the keys physically bottoming out which can be reduced by o-rings. check out some videos of those switch types with o-ring mods on youtube
