http://www.keyboardco.com/blog/index.php/2012/08/an-introduction-to-filco/ "Filco keyboards are produced by Diatec Corporation of Japan. The company is based out of Chiyoda-ku in Tokyo. Diatec’s focus is on the Japanese, Korean and Chinese markets so it relies on distributors like The Keyboard Company to handle sales in Europe and the United States."

I love the design of the k70 and the wrist rest is a great bonus, seems really comfortable. Any information about the red keys and corsair k70 is kindly appreciated! Can also recommend me other keyboard that is around the k70 price range and quality! Thanks in advance. I play Dota 2 mainly and type quite alot. I will let you know. I just bought the K70. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16823816005 Should arrive in the next few days. It will be my first mechanical keyboard. Other posts above mentioning other manufacturers makes me kind of have buyer's remorse that I didn't go with them but hopefully it will be good.

Example: Just because Volvo cars are made in China now doesn't mean it's a Chinese brand. I get your point though. Since it's produced in Taiwan I guess it makes it a little bit less Japanese but I mean it's still a Japanese company and I doubt that there would be any difference between it being made in Japan or Taiwan. Only made in Taiwan because its cheaper for them to have it made there.

The car analogy doesn't work in this case. At least, that's my understanding. The official Chinglish is a bit hard to parse ![]()

The company that builds the keyboard is Chinese. They just let Filco rebrand it and sell it as their own. Similar to the way that many power supplies are not designed or made by the company selling to end users. The car analogy doesn't work in this case. At least, that's my understanding. The official Chinglish is a bit hard to parse ![]() hmm ok. Pretty confusing. I don't mind being proven wrong though. Guess I shouldn't blindly trust companies just like that ^^

I read the comments and they said it's black keys. Looks like a good deal to me, does anyone agree so I pull the trigger? This would be my first mech keyboard. I've heard some good things about TT's build quality, but probably not as popular as the main brands because it's a gaming name. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16823162026&nm_mc=EMC-IGNEFL080113&cm_mmc=EMC-IGNEFL080113-_-EMC-080113-Index-_-Keyboards-_-23162026-L018D I believe TT's OEM is costar.

Yeah if you like mx black seems like a great deal. I have a WASD v1 and the case at least is exactly the same as the TT. The casing isn't as good as my filco, worse plastic and a worse design but it really doesn't matter practically. There is no appreciable difference when using the keyboard.

That's a freakin bonkers deal! I have enough mech boards, but if I needed one on the cheap, I'd get that.

my Zowie Celeritas broke (just one key... but thats enough to make it unplayable '3' is gone) so I am looking for a new mechanical keyboard. I never had a tenkeyless version, but I think its about time, I really don't need the numpad all that much and want to try it out. If its not to my liking I can send it back anyways. I liked the Celeritas with MX Brown switches so I am looking for the same switches again but tenkeyless, yet I do have a question. I use to hotkey from 1-0 in the beginning of the game with a slide over the keyboard and I got the feeling that might be the reason the mechanical keyboard broke down in the first place , could that be the case? Anyways, I'd like to get a hint towards a tenkeyless keyboard thats not totally overpriced (don't really want to spend 100+ euros) with mx brown switches ! Thank you so muchIf possible qwertz layout... but I will customize anyways so, not that important. Edit: I also do hate LED-backgrounds. ... otherwise I think a Ducky would be good for me? :x
