1. post download speed http://www.speedtest.net/ 2. Close other random programs 3. Its a streaming service, not youtube. Don't expect 100% clear crystal 1080p 30fps quality. 4. (probably most important) - are you experiencing choppiness? delays? Why do you need 30 fps?

I don't believe that's possible. You have to watch in the framerate the stream is in. You can toggle the resolution on some channels, but I'm not aware of any way to change the FPS of a stream you're watching.

This suggestion from the JTV forum you linked to solved the issue. lag issues i know this wont work for everyone , but its a handy tip ive been using here on jtv for a very long time and yes its helped a number of viewers on a number of streams right click on the video ,click settings , click the centre "file" icon n slide memory bar to unlimited then close at the very least it helps minimise lag and in some cases gets rid of it i find hoping it works for someone as well as it does me -spender252, Junior Member I'm almost afraid to post this, worrying that the problems will start up again in 5 mins. Still, the stream went from unwatchable at 240p to smooth at 720p as soon as I tried this. :S
