i made a post on their technical support forums and got a few responses with people having the same issue here : http://us.battle.net/sc2/en/forum/topic/2301721994 please post and let them know it's a significant number of people affected (most likely) by something they did with 1.3.0. since they have yet to even acknowledge the problem .. =/ | ||

theyre saying it only happens to Terran and it has to do with how your units make the unit sounds every single time u switch control groups now. So spamming your control groups as Terran seems to be the cause :O! Makes a lot of sense to me now. really hope Blizzard fixes this soon. | ||

I deactivated the unitsounds and it still crashed for me in the first game. | ||

This issue occurs for players using 3D portraits. The temporary workaround if you are experiencing this issue is to turn off 3D portraits and to use 2D portraits for the time being. ________________________________________________" Temporary Fix from blizzard | ||

And it sucks because it happened to me during my placements, towards the midgame, and I was so far in the lead :/ Hopefully this fixes others problems as well until blizzard gets a fix for it. | ||
