XSplit did make an experimental channel plug-in where this is possible, but it doesn't work very well. This post sums up the possibilities: http://www.xsplit.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=4291&p=17797&hilit=delay#p17797
Other stream service providers like Own3d and Regame.tv have these services implemented, but it seems JTV/Twitch is a little behind.

hey guys im trying to start streaming again.
in xsplit on windowed fullscreen on SC2 i get ~109 fps but for me that feels so laggy because im used to 170+ fps
is there any way to fix? I lowered my resolution and bitrates and whatnot and it is still just as choppy.
It records perfectly fine in fullscreen but i am one of those people who alt tab a lot to do other things mid game and I cant do that with fullscreen without the delay.
Any help appreciated.
EDIT!: omg i just noticed that i like instantly drop 30 fps as soon as i even open the xsplit program BEFORE i even try to broadcast. HELPPP!

However it is not lagging because you go from 170 to ~109. What you're experiencing is 'input lag'. Currently the best solution to fixing this is to use DXTory: http://www.teamliquid.net/forum/viewmessage.php?topic_id=272764.

Having a strange problem with my stream... I've registered a new account, verified the email on both xsplit and jtv. But when i press broadcast on xsplit the stream goes live for 2-3 seconds and then goes offline again. Xsplit says it's still streaming though.
What am I doing wrong?
Help appreciated

Help appreciated I have two suggestions. a) Go to your Justin.tv account page and press "Go live" in the upper right corner (http://www.justin.tv/home?broadcast=true) That sometimes "activates" your account b) It could also be due to using a non-existent broadcast server. Try selected a named server under locations.
If neither helps you need to contact Justiv.tv support - this is not a XSplit related issue

I have some great news fresh off the XSplit website.
As of today, all personal or premium XSplit users can take advantage of the new and much improved GameSource feature in XSplit. It now supports an ever growing list of DX9, DX10 and DX11 fullscreen and windowed fullscreen games. Performance for Starcraft 2 has been particularly improved since earlier versions. Please try out v1.0.1201.0504 (link).
Please take note of this statement:
As of today’s release Screen Capture is no longer the way to go for capturing and casting game play
Among other news it has also been stated that XSplit will appear in a free version after release, though limited:
Hereunder, we expect the limitations in the free version of XSplit to be: Watermark with XSplit brand logo ( EXCEPTION: Streaming to some selected gaming related partners sites will not produce watermark) Resolution and/or stream duration will be limited (specific limitation to be announced later) Audio encoding functionality will be limited to Speex audio codec Game Capture functions will NOT be available

Using gamesource for me drops my FPS from 90+ to 30... No idea why.

I'm having problems with the latest version. It literally WON'T broadcast any video whatsoever, but it broadcasts audio just fine.

If so, please post in the thread to let the developers know. Thanks.

Guys, please remember to post errors/bugs on XSplit's forum, not here. The developers doesn't read TeamLiquid.
I'll be happy to help with questions about settings, but bugs don't belong here - thanks!

Just a quick question, is my internet connection good enough to handle a stream and me actually playing without lagging for both?

Yeah, you should be just fine with a 2 Mbps - keep it at 720p or lower though.

Im having problems with recording the sound that comes from my speaker and my mic at the same time. I have no problems recording one or the other. Any advice?
