Help with VLC and GOMTV

Hi there! I am currently on a Mac and therefore cannot download the GOM Player to watch my beloved GSL live. I am in Firefox and using greasemonkey to get the url for the live stream, no problem there. But, when I go into VLC and try to use the "Open Network" function I get an error saying "Your input can't be opened" and that VLC is unable to open the MRL. I'm not that great with computers/code and all that stuff. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Just use the manual method from http://www.teamliquid.net/forum/viewmessage.php?topic_id=154485&currentpage=3#47

It can be a bit confusing so i'll sum it up again here:

1: Login to gomtv
2: go to the live page and "view source code"
3: search for' livehq', 'livesq', or 'livesqtest'
4: Now starting at 'function LiveHQ()' in the source, search for a link that looks like this: 'document.location.href='gomcmd:///title%20GOMtvnet%20http://www.gomtv.net/gox/flash_live.php?num=HQ&sn=864541564634&lid=23''
Copy only the last part that starts with http://
5: Copy/paste that link into your adress bar and view source again.
for HQ/SQ Stream: Copy the entire URL after <REF href= " (without the closing " ofc)
for SQLIve: copy the url between LiveAddr= and the first &amp you see.
6: Unescape it using http://www.linkedresources.com/tools/unescaper_v0.2b1.html

7: Paste the unescaped link into VLC, it will play 100%
PS: Please dont try using the link I posted here as I replaced the numbers. Dont want anyone watching with my ticket :D

@zatic: I know theres nothing blocking it because for the season 2 finals I used my roommates computer to watch it...

@lazyo: I did exactly what you said but I still get the same error from VLC. When unescaping the link should it come out different than it was? Because when I used the unescaper it just spits out the same link.

my guide is basicly what this says, except using the actual html fragments used in gom's site really :s...

I don't think i can really say how good this is, works so well and is so simple. If you are having problems please try useing this i use chrome also and it is so easy and works every time, gives you the link in red you copy and open it in live stream, nothing else to it, just makes sure your loged in to a Gomtv account.

GomTV changed their website for the 2011 GSL Season Jan. so the userscript probably hasn't worked over the last week or so.
I've gotten a chance to update the script. It should be good to go once again:
