1. Just unplug your cable 2. Start SC2.exe 3. The login-screen appears 4. Plug your cable in again 5. Wait like 30 seconds -> You can join Battle.net as normal!

Startup screen was locking up but if you unplug your cable after starting up sc2 it seems to work fine..... so its battle.net related. not my computer. woot!

yah, this works fine - you can also jsut disable the LAN Adapter (under network connections) for a second, load SC2, as soon as the login screen is there, alt-tab and re-enable (no need to wait) -> login works, no freezes

Something important must be going on imo. Maybe it has to do with the interface, adding chat channels perhaps? Confirmed for me. 1)Disable your network adapter 2)Load SC2 3)Enable your network adapter 4)Make sure as soon as you hit enable on your network adapter you try to get back into SC2 as soon as possible, if your network is enabled before you alt-tab(or click) into SC2, it will crash again. EDIT: I realize I'm not the first to post this. Just posting this for the people that didn't seem to get it to work, step 4 was screwing me over because I didn't click back into SC2 soon enough.
