That's probably because they literally don't feel the same. :p The Steelseries keyboards have black switches, and your Black Widow has blue switches. You feel a bump with blue switches and they make a clicky noise, while Black ones are linear and aren't supposed to click.

Reading this thread makes me feel like an outcast, since I'm not using a mechanical keyboard but one of those "gaming" keyboards that are supposed to be oh-so terrible for SC2.
I like my G15 very much. It's sturdy, the keys have a nice feedback and it's good for work and other games as well. The backlight is useful when playing at night and the display is cool for displaying time, unread mails, who's talking on TS etc.

I've been looking everywhere and it's either out of stock or deactivated (newegg). I found a couple hits on google shopping but they're from some hecka shady sites I've never heard of. No luck on ebay either...

It was also known as the Auravision EluminX. For the price you pay for a used one or a new one today, you might as well spend the money and get a mech kb or save the money and get a mech kb.

ive got the razer lycosa. Absolutely love the keyboard, great response and also looks nice . It did take me a while to get used to it though. Got it over 1.5 years already and still no troubles at all.

After using the Filco for 2 weeks he tried his old G15 for the lols ans said it felt like trying to type with a sponge.

I'm using Black widow.
Really nice for the fps and sc2.

This keyboard is SO easy to use (control and shift key are easy to hit) If you cant afford a mechanical keyboard get this one.Or save your money and get this one!

This one. I can't seem to find ctrl button in anything else and end up hitting some stupid buttons instead of ctrl.

This is pretty much what happens to anyone who tries a mech keyboard... I have seen exactly *one* person choose rubber dome over mech, and it wasn't even a price thing. There's probably a ton of people who would switch, but never try because of the price.
And I would say G15 has the best feeling keys for any rubber dome too.
Need to get myself a tenkeyless with blues... although I can't complain with the das and browns I have right now

Razer Actrossa or MacBook Air build in keyboard depending on where I play.
Razer I love so so much as I've used it for some time and am unbelievably used to it.
MacBook keyboard is great because F keys are so close and cmd is in a better position than ctrl so you can reach further down the keyboard as it's more central.
Also got an old keyboard I ripped all none zerg hotkeys out of but don't use it much since I now play Random and missing certain hotkeys wouldn't be so great.
