Any thoughts on my current CPU? I'd like to be able to play Rome Total War 2 at max/near max when it comes out next year. Thanks! Edit: I'm aware that there are different "versions" of this card. Is the one I chose (XFX) a good choice? I am lead to believe that it is factory over-clocked and that it has some kind of fan that facilitates further over-clocking. Thanks so much!

and i'm just saying, specificaly for crysis 2, the 7950 is better then the 7870/7850 as these will not play it on max settings at good fps (well, the 7870 will normally, especially if OC'd, but the 7950 will for sure) as for your cpu, for the games you want to play, it is decent enough still

I intend to OC it though, seeing as I have (I think) a good cooler for it. So you're saying the sapphire 7950 is bette than the XFX one? I thought the XFX had the "double-dissipation" cooling?

only the cooling differs, which is why sapphire, with low prices and dual-x cooling, is usually one of the best

Multiple brands offer this, not just XFX, and most of the times, Sapphire is the cheapest dual cooling solution. Thank you. This is a bit clearer ![]() I'm still open to some comments about OCing my CPU. Things regarding my one specifically, how far I should go etc Thanks very much, ye are all so helpful.

Corsair Vengeance often overpriced as well. Why Diablotek? They don't make good anything. After reading more reviews about cases. I think I've decided to get the Cooler Master Storm Scout, seems like it has a lot more room and better ventilation as well as an awesome look. Though it is $71 compared to the Diablotek $33. I didn't think the Corsair was that much more expensive than the other SSDs... I know there faster ones for a little bit cheaper but they seemed to have reliability issues, so that's why I picked the Corsair. I forgot about the heatsink, thanks. Don't want to spend a huge amount on a heatsink, so I'm going with the Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO ($30) The 7850 does indeed seem all around better for the same price. Thank you for this, totally missed that.
