Sure guys like Classic, GuMiHo, Fantasy and Hero retired, but new players like Chance, Dynamite, Zoun, SpeeD and others came back from the army and might try to qualify (plus some aspiring pros like Rookie, Prince, Soloist, etc).

This, or there will be more space for foreigners attempting to qualify(given they would like to).

So which of these actually retired and who is actually just doing their military service?

I will never forget his game vs ragnoroc back in hots where he nearly won vs a 4 base Zerg after being bane busted and having only 6 workers. When your a micro god it makes sense to fantasy gg timing. I will miss him. Fan rant over.

I really feel like that denigrates fantasy's decision to pursue other opportunities, coaching might be a much more fulfilling job for Fantasy at this stage in his life. People's choices aren't all about money, or else Fantasy would have never came back to sc2 in the first place. Anyways, I wish Fantasy luck in the future, thanks for all the awesome games! Fantasy to me seems to continually favour new challenges over easy money and I see this as another example of that. Being real the easy money for him is just streaming BW and he continually does other stuff so it’s grossly unfair for anyone to level that at him.

Sad truth to the matter. Unless you're the very best and capable of winning an event or placing Top 4 a majority of the time. It's not worth it, even the likes of Classic who's probably Top 2 Protoss this year is already gone. More job secuity being a LoL coach, and I wish the best for Fantasy in his endeavors. Though it'd be better if he went to BW at least for the entertainment factor and those who loved his career/run back in the day. He's shown he can even topple Flash in a TvT.
