fucking awesome ^_^
I liked the old playoff format better, tho. For the viewers, the coolest thing about team league formats is when a player goes on a ridiculous rampage (yeah yeah I know teams prefer the format require even roster construction, but I don't care)

Absolutely amazing, thank you SCboy!

A big thank you to the Chinese scene.

A big issue with the old playoff format was that it just lasted way too long. I think the finals actually lasted till something like 1-2am in China.
Xiaose infamously said that “现场观众都得死” (Everyone here will die tonight from fatigue) because of how long the series was taking.

Pretty sure the finals last season dragged all the way to nearly midnight so yeah, truncating the match isn't exact a bad idea.

Huang Xudong has already realized the issue.

We can still have that, right? They just have to win 2 games against every opponent now.

This is actually super big. Hopefully this tournament will be able to evolve into something like LCS/Proleague and will be a constant competition.
