Even so it wouldn't be that bad due to the language barrier. I fear it takes more than the average English level of Chinese netizens to actually find where to vote.

Pretty upsetting to see that Reynor may not get the invite. In my view we should be sending the world's best. Elazer having 5k more votes than anyone else is pretty ridiculous too. Not only does this spike in votes possibly eliminate Reynor's invite, it drastically affects the second tier vote spots for all others in a tight race too. Ultimately, my disappointment is because the voter spam has essentially ruined the spirit of a community vote. Why even have a community vote if 5k randoms are just going to hand it to someone? I'm all for Blizzard just hand picking the players next year.

Before, Scarlett was ahead of Elazer, and Elazer is ranked better than Scarlett atm.

I agree with you though, using TL may increase participation but is it good participation?

Elazer is one spot better and Scarlett didn't show up to one event. She's higher ranked per tournament attended :p

Bisu, isn't that better to give other people oportunity to face the best of the best?

Well she was qualified with a large margin so people wouldn't go crazy on her, but now that her spot is at risk there might be another flood of voters coming to save Scarlett, eliminating Reynor in the process.

it also happened last year with kelazhur ... maybe something like one can only vote if the tl.net acc was created at least 1 day before the vote or something could help (but that way we would also exclude some of the sc2 community) btw. with how the vote looks now we should actually get the top 8 in wcs circuit standings^^ (elazer being rank 8, scarlett would have been rank 9)

Next time add battle.net verification please, this is absolutely unfair.

But even with that I doubt the Elazer thing wouldn't have happened since Elazer knows Scarlett is more popular.

Might not be an absolute destruction for foreigners. Reynor got smashed by the votes. Elazer is now on the top

Those Elazer votes are super fake... He has more votes alone than HeroMarine and ShowTime together. That's just not possible... Reynor was winning the whole week and then suddenly he pass from 56% to 20%... I don't hate Elazer actually I think he is a great guy but please... Those votes are mostly fake accounts...

These are not fake - sadly. Very popular polish youtuber (almost 2 mln subscribers) make a request on his channel to vote for Elazer. Polish people are very keen to respond for such calls. So I suspect that massive subscribers of the guy just created an account and voted for Elazer. I'm polish too... so I know what I'm talking about - however I didn't vote for Elazer but Scarlet - to support only girl/women in StarCraft progamers world .
I can see that is not fair against other guys not supported by any popular youtubers, influencers... etc.
